Hi guys, haven’t posted in long time and just thought would share my trip to Philippines. Specifically I spent 3 weeks in Angeles city (mid Oct - mid Nov.)and 1 week traveling around to other area’s. For this post I will mostly talk about Angeles.
Land in Manila, travel to Angeles about 90 min depending time of day and traffic. You can fly in close to Clark but it probably will take longer with the transfer and cost more.
Talk about a good time. Hot, not much rain, (two days of rain and only about 4 hours each day). Stayed in a hotel about 15 min trike ride away from walking street. Hotel had great food and a bar, pool right outside room door that was open early 10 am until 10 pm. Hot tub for 2 or more in the room. Average meal like roast half chicken, mash potatoes and veggies is about $8 at the hotel. Beer around $2 and mixed drinks $2-3. Rooms made every day with new towels. Very courteous staff. There are some hotels right on walking street but I prefer to be outside walking street but in close proximity.
Now to walking street. About 15 min, trike ride costs 150 php which is about $4. You can fit one white guy and a Filipina in the trike plus another white guy on back seat of motorcycle or 5 filipino’s crammed in the same space. No limit, just as many as you can physically fit for same price.
Walking street bars. Well me and which ever gf would go bar hopping. 2 gin and tonic for her, 2 captain and coke for me and a shot of gold tequila for her on the way out. Average price..500 php or $11.60 total. Usually hit 6-8 bars in a night. There are about 50 to choose from on walking street then more on the perimeter. (Countless). Average bar had 10–15 girls protation on the stage at any given time and 3-4 rotations before you got back to the first girls. Gives you lots of choices. I would say 1 in 3 are takers by Vancouver standards. In Philippines you can have much higher standards since the choices are so abundant and right in front of you to choose. They are usually dressed in minimal clothing so no way to cover anything up. What you see is what you get. Only thing to expect is maybe some extra padding in the bras lol.
In Philippines you bar-fine them and payment goes to the bar or mamasan. I am not going to discuss costs here though. Lets just say its affordable.
Everyone speaks english, language is no barrier there. Lots of food on walking street to choose from along with street food. (Which I don’t eat, I like my stomach the way it is). I feel at home and comfortable in Philippines especially that area but this is not my first rodeo and I wouldn’t recommend going alone for first time. I have my own vehicle there so I hire myself a driver/security guy to make sure I get home safe after my 6 bar hops. He stays by my side until I am in my room with whoever and however many companions I decided to bring home with me. Occasionally I send him home and take a trike back. Both gf’s (I switched gfs’ 1/3 way through the 3 weeks) like girls as much as guys so we seldom went home alone.
The girls: Well what can I say, they are Filipina. You just can’t get any better. Attentive, attractive, sexual, lbfm’s, love to drink and party. About 3 times I was sitting at a table at a bar, ordered some food and while waiting bought a bar girl a drink and all 3 times when the food came they wouldn’t let me touch it. They cut it and fed it to me. I felt like a little kid but I didn’t complain. They always have a napkin to make sure you are cleaned up after each bite. Also if you had a drop of sweat running down your brow they will dab it with a napkin. Did I mention attentive? Lol.
I don’t think I have to go into any reviews of service, 90% would be like reading a review of Filipina Staycie or Eve. There were a couple that weren’t terrible but you could tell they were doing it because they had to.
Including gf’s and the girls we brought home with us I lost count at 18. Fairly sure I used all fingers and toes and maybe a few more.
On top of all this fun I drank and ate way more that I usually do and lost 13 lbs without trying. Next time I will actually try and see how much I can loose. No carbs and gym every other morning will be my routine.
For the 4th week I met up with the wife and we toured around the country for 7 days and saw some beautiful sights. Beautiful country. Went to some fabulous resorts that are all very affordable. Lots more to do there than just walking street lol.
Think will be going back sometime in late January for another 2-3 week run. Just can’t get enough. Biggest expense is the flight.
