My stanley cup playoff bet

Well the flames are toast thanks to the pathetic losing streak at the end of a really good 2nd half of the season.Whilst talking to my brother last night (who is band wagon jumping canucks fan) and listening to him yap off that the canucks took the presidents trophy and this and that and blah blah blah I told him to put up or shut up....he reiterated that the canucks would win the stanley cup so I asked him if he wanted to bet on that and he said yes...so the bet is that if the canucks win the cup I owe him $100 and if the canucks get bounced from from the playoffs he owes me $100...no nit-picky stuff about if they make it the 3rd round or the final or even if it goes to overtime in game 7 of the final win or lose do or die.

This of course gives me extra added incentive to cheer for any team playing against the canucks....go blackhawks....make it a 1st round upset just like the Habs did to the Capitals last year

I just googled them and pulled them off. I'm not sure if they are current or not to be honest. Was just backing up my point that SR made a good bet and his Bro didn't.

No doubt, I would take any team in history to NOT win at even odds.

are eliminated so it's not current.

www.sportsinteraction.com was good but they aren't listing future odds
for NHL at the moment.

I won the bet and when Vancouver lost in a 4-0 shutout in game 7 my brother would not answer the phone...this continued for 2 days....finally he answered and took his lumps...I gave him my ATM card number to deposit the cash.....He sure took his time about it.....9 fricken days before I got paid...with several follow up calls and a bunch of texts made by me.....nothing worse than a loser in denial who has to open his wallet with a crowbar.

I told him exactly what I was going to do with the money after game 4 when he continued the trash talking...I told him I was going to spend it at Sugarland LOL....well today before I left home I came across a $5 chip at 1 of the casinos in town I had left over from a losing day....I took it with me and withdrew the money and headed for that casino...though I did have residual cash on me from a withdrawal the previous day so I had $265 on me.....lost a quick $60 at 3 card...though iff 1 guy had stayed 2 more hand I would have hit trips....moved to a blackjack table with $3 minimum....big mistake....some idiot playing $3 hands just plain fucked up the table 3 hands in a row by hitting a 13/12/14 when the dealer was sitting at 2/4/5....I left and went to another blackjack table and it was better....was betting $10 and stacking back up my winnings....got my bet up to $40 several times and took profits a few times and got back up to even.....moved over to the ultimate texas hold-em table and it took off from there...got multiple full houses/trips/flushes/straights and I got a few bad beats as well...best hand was when the board had 2-3-4-5 of clubs and the river was a 2...dealer had jack/queen and neither were clubs...that hand paid seriously to the table....from right to left of the dealer is went straight/straight/flush/straight/straight flush to the 6 and a full house.

All told I walked out with $700...had I bet heavier it would have been 2 grand+...I am still happy though with my luck....and I will never play a min bet blackjack table again......I will visit Sugarland soon though
