Please excuse my ignorance. I'm hoping to get some information. I have never hired an escort before. I know that hiring one isn't legal. So how do you all do it? How do you contact and hire an escort without getting caught? Thank you!

Thanks luvsdaty. Yeah I knew that. I guess I should have asked how one makes sure they're not running any risk by hiring.

Thanks for the link Hanna, I guess I should edit my post to say I know it's not legal to purchase. So how does one purchase without running the risk of getting caught?

The best way is to research on PERB. Find one that interests you and see if she has reviews on PERB. If she doesn't you can ask in the 411 section if anyone has seen her. If nobody replies you can move on to the next one until you find someone with good reviews. Check out Leolist for ads and then cross reference here.

TBH you're probably more at risk of getting ripped off than getting busted if you don't use PERB for research. It's best to research in either case. Take a little time and don't rush in. And definitely stay away from anything on the street. Police are probably more interested in busting you for street prostitution as it's a visual eyesore for the cities and businesses in the area.

It kind of varies depending on which part of the country you're looking. Do a quick search for Operation Northern Spotlight. Of course, now that BP has been shut down, one wonders how ever will they do their sting operations moving forward...? :fear:

You're not hiring an escort. You're simply meeting a girl for dinner or possibly paying for a massage.

Yikes! On oh so many levels.....:fear:
Or maybe the OP is just :fish2:ing ???
Look, it's real simple- do some PERB research, pick a flavour that seems right for you and make the call.
The simple fact that there ACTUALLY ARE innumerable pages of research to peruse should tell you something about the chances of getting "caught".
Here's a solid tip- don't ask your wife, kids, GF, SO, LE or pastor for their two-cents when trying to make your decision.
Best of luck! It's easier than you might think! :)

Same for the Victoria Police Department (VicPD) and probably the Saanich Police Department. I know that the local support agency, PEERS, is pleased with the policing in Victoria. RCMP are less trustworthy but I have never heard of any problem with them in Greater Victoria. The stroll in Victoria is in a decent commercial area and I have not heard of any complaints. None of the agencies have had any problems.

If the VicPD ever targeted off street workers or their clients in Victoria, the next Police Board meeting would be packed with angry voters.

The clients of street based sex workers have had some problems east of the Rockies where there are more right wing bigots complaining to police about street work.

Operation Northern Spotlight isn't an issue for clients. There are maybe a dozen idiot police departments in Canada that join the US PR stunt and supposedly target vulnerable women but when you look at what they do and how they do it, it's obvious the officers are serving their own needs and interests.
