my computing device dislikes me...wimpers*

Im am not at all accustomed to such new-fangled contraptions... are there any fine gentlemen out there who know their way about these devices? sigh* it keeps loosing the internet connection dealy... then i have to restart it and then it works again.. for a bit... wimpers...

you should also have a good anti-spyware software. Try Spybot Search and Destroy. its free, and you can download it at http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html

could be a virus.

Probably Spyware, malware or Adware. All of em will slow your computer performance down, to the point of windows not loading.

Too many of em and your computer will crash intermittently. You may have to do a system wipe.

Make sure your antivirus software is also updated.

What kind of computer do you have? Do you know the specs on it?

Is your computer noticeably slower lately?

call up shawcable in winnipeg.... that is your isp.

it could be your internet connection itself. I have had that problem before where the internet dies periodically.

It is more likely a firewall problem methinks. Unlikely to be a virus i think.
