Music scene in Vancouver

Going to Vancouver next week end. It's been some time since I was there on a Saturday night.
Looking for recommended places to visit for some good music. Preferably not packed with teenagers...!
Wish Soulstream still was around playing live. They were awesome. Love that style of music.
Appreciate any info.........
