It’s been a few years for me and interested in seeing providers now. I used to get a response to most providers I reached out too and it was quite easy setting up appointments. Now the independent providers on Leo list almost never respond. It’s literally been two weeks of no responses. I am short and to the point. Explain ive read the ad, and say I’m interested in a specific timeframe and ask about their availability… and nothing. Anybody else getting this problem? Thanks.

Things are pretty busy with gentlemen stepping back out .. no pun intended 🙂
I think personally I’ve been able to really be into the session that I’m being asked to do and be “pickier” per say . Big increase in traffic in almost 2 years , we all went thru a lot & the regulars who have stood by us will always take priority to new clients . Could be a bit of a lot of factors . Shortage in service staff in general out there .. naked & dressed 💋 the ladies who are worth seeing are booking quickly .

Send your name, age, ethnicity (if asked for), what else you did and send any screening info they ask for and you won't get ignored. You need to say more about who you are. Those of us who are any good and have been around a bit have built solid regs and don't need to take risks or beg for info that we ask for on our ads already.

I literally have guys who say they read my ad that straight up says if you don't send an intro text of yourself I won't really care about you, be as nice to you, or give you as good as service (if we even get that far) as the good guys who make booking easy and they will still send me nothing to work with. Guys who send their photo or a pic of their ID go to top of my list. You obv can't do that with every ad.

If you only sent me what you said you wrote to them, I wouldn't really care about it. I'm a small BBW provider and can be picky with my days often booked a day or two in advance so I can't imagine how many texts the IG model types that are everyones type have to go through every day.
I am going to agree here…except it sounds like you forgot your a total smoke show! I’m pretty sure those IG model types you mention are all fan girling over you and those curves!!! You’re so damn cute, I hope you’re moaning your own name in bed!

I agree with the ladies here. I am booked a few days in advanced. My ad and website strongly encourage prebooking but I feel like most men are wanting a last minute/short notice booking which I only reserve for regulars I have seen before. It is very unlikely that I will drop everything for a new, last minute booking with no garuntee of actually going through, especially since alot of guys on the island dont want to pay deposit.
I stick to my regulars and new clients that follow my booking instructions, read my website and ad, and also pay a deposit to reserve my time.

Hi Tony,

That is rather odd, and I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. For myself, as long as you introduce yourself and mention which session you want and when, I always reply right away (when I'm free and during my shift) because you've given me almost everything I need to know, only thing left is to confirm it. 🤔
I always give priority to those texts, and answer those first! Partial information gets answered second even if they were received first.

The most vexing is "Hi are you available today?" Which 99% of the time means right now, so why say "today" if you mean right now?? 🤪

I'm sure we all ignore those, whom we haven't already met, that demonstrate they haven't made any attempt to read our Ad or website and its like pulling teeth to ever solidify a booking... If ever, I'm not sure if I've ever had the patience... 🤔
"U avail" (wot unless we've already met)
Or
"You look hot" (wants to chat)
Or
"What do you offer? Rates?" (No effort to read Ad = no effort to show up)
Or
"Hi how are you" (text is no place for small talk unless we've already met or spoken before)

You must be making a minor error, can you please give us an example of what your texts asking to book looks like so we can analyze it? 🙏🤗

Afterthought: you're not using a texting app are you? First thing we do is search your number on peoplebyname or something to make sure you're calling from a real phone... sorry but we don't want to be alone with someone who is untraceable if they misbehave.

Thanks Lucy, this is the type of response I would hope for.
Tony, I feel your frustration. I try to be concise out of respect and I get non-helpful responses (if any at all). Twice last week I respond to an ad with a simple “good afternoon, I saw your ad on “abc” and I would like to schedule an appointment. Can you please let me know if you have availability today? Thank you”. I get a response with “when do you want to book”. I reply “does 3pm work” response “no”. Reply “how about 4:30?” Response ( an hour later) “I only have 7:30 available”.
by that time I had moved on.
if only 7:30 available, why not just respond with that initially and save all the back and forth over the hour+?
Before you heroes put me on blast, I get it, ‘last minute’ bookings don’t get priority, but I’ve tried to book with some of these providers in advance and get “check back tomorrow”. I’m not complaining. I know people are busy (try to book some home renos right now… no really). I’m just acknowledging Tony’s frustration with one of the many consequences of what appears to be the new normal. Not as many people want to work, and the people that want to work are too busy meet the demand. In many cases, this sort of labour supply/demand shift causes a large spike in earnings (for those so initiated) and decline in quality of service.
I am optimistic that the reliable providers in Victoria (some of whom have commented on this thread) will continue to provide top notch service.
Note: none of my statements is intended to be inflammatory. Just simple observations on human behaviour and economic theory. If I have offended any humans or economists, I apologize (small disclaimer as I have reduced my posting activity because I keep getting suspended…)

Us:
I am selling a Navy Blue cocktail dress that I purchased at the Bay. It is 250$ Firm . The dress is a size8, tags still attached, and I’m only selling it because it’s too big. Matching pearl necklace included! Please see attached photos.

Our inboxes:
-what colour is this dress?
-where did you buy it?
-is this dress new?
-how much?
-send me a photo of the dress!
-can you throw in some heels too?
-I don’t normally shop at the Bay, so since it’s my first purchase can you discount it?
-can I just try the dress on?
-describe every stitch, button, zipper, etc for me before I even view the dress!
-how many people have tried this dress on before me today?

I get it. It’s frustrating. But it is not industry specific. Have you tried to sell anything on used Victoria? When I first moved here about 8 years ago, I listed a couple items. They were good quality and listed at a fair price (for the sake of this example, let’s say $100) 80% of initial emails simply said would you take $40?” I took the time to respond and I for that it is in like new condition and only a year old and would be $200 at the store.
they reply “how about $50? I reply with something like, I listed this at a very fair price so if you would like the item, please feel free to come have a look. If not, have a great day. Sometimes they say they will and don’t.
the other 20% day “I’ll take it. Can I come pick it up tomorrow?” I say for sure. Then if I get other inquiries I let them know I have someone coming tomorrow, but if they don’t show up I will let them know. Only about 10% of those people ever actually show up and then most of those didn’t bring enough cash and/or want change (I don’t have a cash register at home…)
So now I just say yes to everyone and if someone shows up they get it and if others show up I say tough shit it’s gone. So because of the market behavior, I have found myself not as polite or helpful with people with whom I am engaging in commerce.
on a side note, for those special kind of morons that say”would you take $40 cash”?
What other form of payment did you think I was expecting? $40 worth of peaches? $40 worth of bitcoin? Yes I will take cash. Only cash. Etransfer is still cash and just as valid. Are some of these old fucks writing Cheques?

You mostly gave the same example as naughty knickers but let's use your example... now say that selling things is your main job, you would stop responding to those offering $40 on your $100 item, right? At most you might write back one word "no" but probably that would get tiresome and you wouldn't reply at all...

Pretty soon you would ignore any low ballers, and anyone who just says "hi" or just "your item looks great." and you would look for signs that they are serious ie that they read the Ad and understand what it is/includes, responds promptly, and suggests a time that works for them to pop by, etc.

Imagine the screening you would have to do on those 20% willing to pay your asking price, to ensure someone shows up for you to make a living. (Assuming that you wouldn't want people knocking on the door before during or after your appointed sale.) You would probably give priority to those who sounded certain, confirmed promptly and signed their names, right?

That's where we're at with our bookings!! 😘

(Incidentally I never buy off usedvictoria or Kijiji cuz they WILL give the item to the first person who shows up which I hate, I find varage or marketplace 100x better cuz they can see my real name and WILL hold it for me. I also gush about the item and have only once asked if they'd go lower... love me a deal but I hate being cheap more 😄)

From a dudes point of view , we can’t plan our horniness. Yes it’s true if we ask if you are avail, it’s most likely within the next 3 hours. I prob cannot plan a booking tomorrow or next week bc I just may not feel horny anymore or I already saw someone. Call me weak, but I can’t not see someone today for example, and have the will power to last until tomorrow. It has to be resolved one way or the next. Having said this, I also understand that the person I want to see may be busy and I do not expect them to drop everything for me. If it works out, great. If not, I move down the list of preferred providers until I find than see me. Finally , lefty or righty may have to take care of matter, lol. But fortunately, if I have to, agencies are always there for me in a pinch .

I’m extremely picky when it comes to the women I choose to spend my time with, there’s say…5-6 on Vancouver island I would even consider going to see.

when I message women I make sure I’ve read their add ahead of time, I plug in the requested information, and then I write about myself…almost like a dating site lol. I have fun with it, I’m a goofy fella, and it shows when I message them.

If she responds within a day I’ll book. If she takes 2 days I might book depending on the kind of message I get back. If she takes 3 or more days I believe it reflects poorly on them, and the service will correlate.

and If she doesn’t respond, I’m blown away and confused, that’s only happened once.

its a two way street :)

As a type 1 diabetic and moving to senior status I just can't predict far in advance if I will be ready to go. I realize that puts most indies out of the equation and I have no problem with that. The agency system works best for me.
