Ladies (or gentlemen), what is a good hotel close to MTS? I would prefer to have a hot-tub, but this is not vital. I will be booking for probably 3 nights surrounding the Justin Timberlake concert, likely Sat/Sun/Mon nights.
I have some great restaurant info, but if anyone has new restaurant or shopping info, that would be awesome!
Also, any of you ladies who would like to tell us about/show us a great place to party, please PM me! We are hoping to be extra bad this weekend, lol. I will park my car for nightlife so I can have martinis/Budweisers! I would prefer any of our party-mates to be 420 friendly so I do not offend... :) This is part vacation, part other... PM me!

lots to do in winnipeg....

hi there...the radisson hotel is about a 2 min walk from the mts centre...the fairmont is maybe 5 mins and the hotel fort garry is about a 10 min walk and is a gorgeous former cp hotel...kinda looks like the one in lake louise...

there is an awesome little shop quite a ways down portage called lucy's hidden closet...price points are a little higher but they have the most amazing stuff as well as are the exclusive retailer for john fluevog ( if you are a fan...lol) - just a little east of lucy's is a great but tiny restaurant called star grill...fabulous salads, tarot reading, full selection of premium vodka...hahaha - for a more "career wear", selection, ten toes on vaughn and portage is great or lady godiva on corydon in little italy....

as for party places...while in little italy be sure to hit the patio at bar italia - should still be warm enough....i hope...:) and for clubs, there is the empire on main which is across the street from desire - a straight friendly gay club that is open on weekends till 4...

if you need anything else from your friendly neighbourhood ( and self titled ) winnipeg ambassador to touring sp's :D let me know - happy to answer pm's

The Radisson is across the street from the MTS Centre and is a pretty good hotel, just no Hot Tubs.

The Delta is about 1.5 blocks away, decent hotel, says they have a few Jacuzzi Suites, not sure on price on those

The Mariaggi is a hot tub theme suite hotel, just never known anyone to stay there and about 5 blocks away in not good direction.

Enjoy the concert and weekend :)

The Clarion has very nice theme room suites with Jacuzzi's,...on Portage Avenue by Earl's and Polo Park for shopping and only minutes away from the downtown area.
Enjoy your stay!!!

Thank Miss January, wpgcrazy and wonderfulbiwmn!!
I think I will give myself until 3pm Tuesday to research these places and make a decision... I would love the hot tub, but a hotel across the street is pretty convenient... now, I just need to find a place that has good martinis, a place to dance, and a place to play pool (oh, if only they are close to a hotel with a hot-tub!!!) Bella and I may never leave, lol - jk
She is so excited! We hope to have so much fun!
