She was really off base suggesting crack addicts and street workers could be brought in to work at massage parlours.
First of all, I think we should applaud her for speaking out. That can't be easy.
It's great when the women in the business say they want decriminalization, because it completely counters the bible-thumpers and the radical feminists who oppose decriminalization by claiming they're all about saving and protecting the women who work in the business.
I'd agree with you that the idea of street walkers moving into MPs doesn't make much sense. It would have 25 or 30 years ago when the laws and the way they were being enforced was discouraging SPs from working indoors. Today, the ones still on the street are there for different reasons. The ones who are capable of working indoors already are.
I think before much longer the media and the general public are going to start realizing that the police and politicians are huge hypocrites who have been tacitly allowing a large indoor sex trade, which is supposed to be illegal. It employs thousands of women across the country, and the politicians and cops can't get away with pretending they don't exist forever.
About the working two days a week, I don't know how common it is, but I've heard of some who will do this and also see familiar customers on other days, either on outcalls or at an incall they may share with other SPs. Working in the MP a couple of days a week in effect eliminates the need to advertise themselves independently or work for an agency, and allows them to screen customers since they will only give their contact info to guys they have already seen a few times inside the MP.
