I noticed little check boxes by each one. Is that like a scavanger hunt list as well. Find the 'gem(s)' at each parlor.

What's the name of the tool you used to make the map?
80% of the work was writing a perl script with a group of perl modules. Most of the MPs are in the grid areas of Edmonton so it was pretty easy. The rest was the GIMP.

This map looks like a definate must for every serious pooner in Edmonton, although guys like me and Trawler could probably find all these places in our sleep. :D

Hey maybe we should all have a contest of sorts where the first one to see an SP in each location (starting with number one) in the shortest amount of time is declared "MR. Pooner- Edmonton" or maybe it would just be MR. SORE.

On a sidenote: I did notice that the following were missing:

> 99th Street Studio

> G-Spot (as noted by wolverine)

> Kingsway massage

> Escape & Relax

> Classix

>The Nisku Truck Stop (home of the drive thru hummer?) ;)

Now this one may not be a rub & tug but how about:

> Body Care located @ 12911 - 127 Street

Suggestion Time:

Any way in which to link up the mp's websites to their name on your maps legend?

Wow, a work of art none the less, Great Job!

Also missing is G-Spot. But this is a great tool for newcomers to our fair burg.

Besides updates with the MPs, will the map itself also be updated? Such as when the Anthony Henday is finished later this year and the Gateway/23 Ave interchange is finally built?

Thanks for all the comments.
The map is static. No auto updating as new roads are built.
I knew I would miss a few places but I only had a few resources to check.
The map is currently hosted on a free image site so updates to the image itself will be tricky. I'll look a place I can upload a fresh image as I update the map and also to produce a image map to make it "clickable".
It's only 80% automatic, and that's only because most of Edmonton is on a grid. I still have to fix up the map by hand for locations on strange roads, and to fudge overlaps.
Also addresses aren't automatic. I was using the toronto-exotic-massage for addresses and most of those addresses don't indicate street or avenue.
I'll produce version 2 in a few days that will include the locations I missed if I can find the data and the time.

If anyone knows where to get accurate map info contact me. (Edmonton Transit has a great PDF map that if I could get a version in that detail without the transit information the map could be way cooler)

anyone care to rate

Hi. I'm interested in knowing how each of these mps rate. I've seen discussion on 'top knotch' rated facilities and those that are 'below par'. I'll be traveling to your fine city to partake in some relaxation and don't want to waste my time in a 'dive'. So your comments are appreciated.
