Could never move from Van. I need the sea. Lived away from the coast for 2 years and all I could think about was getting back to the sea. Cant explain it, just does something for me. And no, lakes dont count.

Come on ... Lake Ontario is big enough that you don't see any land on the other side ... sure you need to delude yourself a little bit!!!!

It has nothing to do with not being able to see land. It has to do with the feel, smell and aura of the sea. Just like a top notch SP. Lake Ontario just wont cut it.

I actually agree with you ... I love being near the ocean and its tough when the only one you got is an inland sea that dried up 1000s of years ago.

I've never live by an ocean, but am always incredibly happy whenever I'm near one. And I agree, Lake ONtario doesn't cut it.
