Moving near Vancouver

Hey all,

I am considering moving near Vancouver. However, as a man who enjoys the hobby, I have some questions regarding the scene. Hopefully, some of you can help clear this up for me.

1) The prices seem to be astronomically high. Is anyone really paying 350+$ for an hour session?

2) The MP scene sounds a bit cheaper, but I wasn't able to find any pictures. What kinds of looks and services are available in the 200$/hr. section?

3) street action seems like it's being monitored too closely. Has anyone considered making a spreadsheet with numbers & such kind of like Merb does? I think it would be a lot more efficient that searching through essay sized posts to try and find pricing & services info.

Good luck with your move, where are you moving from?

Prices are generally higher than the rest of the country for SP's but there area a lot of gems to be had in the $200 range with better attitudes in my experience than a lot of the $3.5 crowd.
