Most Famous or infamous Person You Ever Saw/Met

Played a few games of pool, had a few beers, with Greg Allman in Daytona Beach in the late 70's.

Worked as a Bouncer in a Massive Country Bar called Finky's in Daytona as well. Met David Allen Coe, George Jones, Reba and others.

Worked Security at the old Commodore in the early to mid 90's, met some great bands and musicians. The Tragically Hip played 5 nights in a row my first week there promoting their Road Apples album. They were great and Downey was on fire.

Since moving to Vancouver I have met quite a few "Famous" people. This city offers many opportunities to brush elbows with famous people.

She was somewhat infamous for shooting her husband 6 times at their Calgary home. He was the chairman of Gulf Canada Resources. He survived the shooting and she was found not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of shooting.

My life has been an interesting one, which has led to coming face to face with celebs, athletes and music artists. Just yesterday I spent 12hrs on a set as a background extra for Chesapeake Shores. B.C brings plenty of opportunity to have sightings for actors and saw fine ass, Jason Momoa at YVR last Summer. My first run in with a celeb was Alfonso Ribiero when I was 14, while walking down Robson St. Back then I actually asked for his autograph and thought how cool! I since, realized they're just people who's faces are recognizable. Running track, I met Olympians and Carl Lewis and Donovan Bailey were the utmost for me.
I love hip hop and have been on a few artists stages, been to many after parties and toured with 2 Live Crew and met countless artists, Ice Cube, Ice Tea, Bone Thugs, Redman...etc..etc... Oh, and porn stars!!
All in all, it brings me back to saying these are just people and they can be down to Earth good friends. I am still friends with Brother Marquis (2 Live Crew), Godfather of Canadian Hip Hop Maestro Fresh Wes and Charlie Murphy who has since passed away, R.I.Power.

Matt cooke and marc crawford at bear creek park I was in grade 6 or 7 at the time at a track meet they signed my number for running. Hands down still the best day of my life I won all the races that day...

Tommy Lasorda. Ex-manager of the LA Dodgers. Met him while having dinner in San Francisco,CA, in the 80s.The Dodgers had gotten beating that night by the SF Giants,but he was still in good spirits ,and seemed like a real nice guy.

I met John Travolta back around 1987. I called out, 'Vinnie Barbarino', he gave me a thumbs up and said Ayye... Or something to that effect. Had a small conversation. He is fairly tall. I'm 6'0", he's a lot taller than me.
Met Lindsey Wagner on a movie set around that same time period. I was delivering something, saw this lady breast feeding her child. Realized it was her.
Scotty Bowman. Had a client invite me to a private booth to watch a hockey game. Walking down the hallway, realized the gentleman walking beside me to another suite was Mr Bowman. Chatted for a bit.
I knew a number of ex-Canucks. Dave Babych, Tony Tanti, Garth Butcher. Babych was the really nice, sociable one of the bunch.
Saw Todd Bertuzzi and Ed Jovanovski at a restaurant, sitting at a table beside us. I didn't initially recognize them until my friend pointed out who they were. We left them alone.

I've also helped a fair number of local celebrities while working at a Swedish furniture store (Daniel Sedin, Matthew Good, Jyrki Lymme, the lead singer from Simple Plan, Rae Dawn Chong).
