In my experience I found that the massage parlours right downtown as in within 8-10 blocks of Drummond and St. Catherines are pretty much half-service. The gist I got was that they are under heavy scrutiny so don't offer much more than HS. If one doesn't want to venture far from downtown then the esort agencies such as Euphoria are best bet. Do they have an incall like Fox Den or are they more like Asian Fever and Coco with the girls working out of multiple locations?
I've been to Montreal Nuru a couple times including last summer and found the same as you did. Still fun to try it out if you haven't experienced nuru. Depending on downtown station one starts from they may have to change lines once along the way.
