I am planning to go to Montreal in the late summer, or early September.
It will only be for a week. I need a place where I can walk around to the major shopping areas and night spots. (Strip Clubs)
I have never been there before. St Catherines street is supposed to be the main hang out?
Subway and buses will be used.

Thanks for your help.

Depending on what your budget is, there are lots of hotels in the downtown core.

There is the one I like.. http://www.novotelmontreal.com/

Strip clubs are all over the place downtown, walking is easy. Ste-Catherine is touristy, like Robson, (there are 400-500 shops connected underground) Not many bars are on Ste-Catherine, they are mostly on the side streets, and they are all over the place so depending on what your looking for just ask people walking around.. Also note Ste-Catherine is a long street, so it changes style depending what part of town your in. English, Red Light, French, and Gay areas.

I also stayed at the novotel hotel in Montreal.
1 block from St Catherines street, another half block to the 1st strip club.
About 1 1/2 bocks from the Bell Center. Internet (wired) with wireless access only in the lobby. (I could pick up barely on the 5th floor)
For incall after 10 pm, you need to have a key to use the elevator, but no problems with just going down to get them when they arrive.

The downside to this Hotel was there was no gift shop, so you could not just grab a bag of chips, and only 1 over priced restaurant. Still, I would recommend
