I am Chinese. I had double eyelid surgery done years ago and it was not a success. The doctor did not go high enough so now I am half single and half double. Kind of a male version of Jennifer Lawrence. Sorry no male image come to my mind. Well lately I have been reading that monolid eyes are coming back in vogue in the Asian community. We are now seeing how unique single eyelid can be. A lady complimented my eyes recently and it took me by surprise as it was in my mind a botched surgery. I think the secret to a good looking monolid is to remove excess fat above the single eyelid as it makes you look older and less sharp.
