Money (+ or -) Happy = Happiness?

I while ago one morning, exhausted from working double shifts at my job, my boss walked in.
"Hey! Howz it going?" He greeted me
"Alright i guess" I replied unenthusiastically
"Just alright? what would make you happier?"
"More money"
"Hah! Money won't make you happy buddy"

He then left with cash out envelope of profits that counted up the night before and left.


before i leave my opinion on this i want to hear what you think. is it true? money won't make you happy?

Better to have very little money and be happy, then to have too much and lose it, then try to convince people you’re happy.

Happiness is all in the mind. Positive attitude is Key!


Happiness is just an illusion caused by the temporary absence of reality.

Everybodies level of need is different. I've seen very poor people happy as could be and very rich people absolutely miserable. I don't think money equates with happiness. People need just enough to keep themselves satisfied. After all, how many steaks can you eat in one day?

I don't know too many escorts that make much in a year.

A lot of them do by stuff for other people.

Their job is sweet though.

Even the cheapest ones charge $140 a session. If you had a $30/hr job, after taxes, cpp, and ei, they'd make more than your whole day's work in an hr.
