Money tight, its dark and raining what?

What are you guys doing to pass the time in winter. No money to go out, weather sucks etc. I've been killing my evenings watching TVB soaps. I rent them at Chinatown for 1 dollar per disc. Typical TVB drama is 10-20 discs. Not bad, each disc is 1.5 hours long.

Money is so freaking tight lately than I had to call in sick to my job for mental health reasons. But its going to get better soon, the NFL playoffs start soon and well thats about it for now.

Just one Lottery win god, thats all I ask.

If you have spare time to watch TV, and money feels tight, then the logical thing to do would be to get another job or start up another business.

If you are just looking for some inexpensive entertainment, spend time with family and friends, train harder at the gym, do more volunteer work, or futher your education with some top up courses.

Or sign up for a course at your local rec center.

She does have a point though. I was well past broke about a decade ago and I volunteered to put computers together for the elderly. I learned a lot about computers doing that which, let me get my first job which expanded my knowledge. My first job got me my second job, then my third and finally my current job which I have been at for almost 8 years.
