I am not 100% sure that asking a board will give you an accurate picture.
When I started, I wanted to do so with a multiple-hour minimum and not offer hourly appointments AT ALL. Which meant that when breaking down by hour, the rate may not have been so high, but the minimum amount required to meet me was still twice the average in my area.
I was told adamantly it wouldn't work. At all. Because everybody wants to check out the new girl for an hour first, because multiple-hour appointments are less frequent, etc.
Guess what - it did! At least, enough to meet my goals.
I noticed two ladies in Calgary who raised their rates to be above average - I don't see any reviews or mention of them on the boards anymore. By the way, they - and all ladies charging real premiums that I know - are ALL independent.
Basically, I suspect that while there are many great people around here, the demographics of a review board is skewed towards a more price-sensitive client. So, if you get a load of positive answers - excellent, good for you!
But if you don't... It may not necessarily mean that your idea won't work. It may simply mean you are asking the wrong audience and you'd never know until you try.
Of course, you need to be able to deliver on all your promises and have immaculate presentation both online and in person. And better yet, underpromise and overdeliver.
