MLEG2 - Who is the Biggest Legend in the history of PERB? - Week 2

Welcome to week 2 of voting. This is a continuation of the following thread:

Here are the voting results from week 1:

If you add up all the votes from Hatrick, Howiemeeker, Squirrel, and Spaceghost, you end up with 12... so even if all those votes went to one of those contenders instead of spread over 4, they would have had less than the 14 Hitrack had. If you add in Vancouverman`s 6 votes, you end up with 18, so it`s POSSIBLE albeit VERY VERY unlikely that one of those contenders would have tied Hamster with 18. Therefore, I am going to give Vancouverman a break and he makes it to the 2nd round (barely).

I am adding Trawler and Alexandria by request.

2cums, Photo, Little Alex, and an "others whose posts were deleted" category will be set up as a token choice to recognize the many legends who have had their posts taken away.

This will be the last week of additions. We need to get down to business. I`ve come up with what I think will be a fun and good system to determine the top 3 legends up until the end of 2005! Stay tuned.

3. Hipster Doofus (giving credence to the notion that a hipster can be a doofus)
4. Blowhard (Smiley ATM - this ain`t no love story baby)

6. Hifisex (watching intensely to see how Julias retirement will affect his post count)
7. Trawler (the edmontonian who`s always SP trollin`)
8. Alexandria (from escortin` ~A~ to massagin` ~A~, she`s always been fuckin` ~A~!)
9. 2cums, Photo, Little Alex, or Other - "where have all the good posts gone?"

BTW, you`re supposed to sing #9 like "where have all the flowers gone, long time waiting... where have all the flowers gone? long time ago..."

Wow, looks like Trawler is going to sneak in the back door and kick everybody's asses!!! Sorry for overlooking you Trawler. It wasn't intentional. It's kinda like the press in the East never giving proper credit to the West coast teams come trophy time in the NHL. I honestly had never heard of you until somebody mentioned it in the thread. 14 votes in such a short amount of time, I smell something fishy. Looks like a Trawler fan is stuffing the ballot box, can anyone say multiple handles? I doubt it was Trawler cause I doubt if he cares if he wins or not and with the amount of pooning he does I doubt he would have time.

Don`t worry... this is only round 2. I suspect the high voting was due to everybody in his camp holding their orgasm for a week and then finally being able to blow their load today.

Trawler never asked or implied that someone should advocate for him. First of all the lounge is dominated by BC members so I figured I was just evening the odds a bit. Let`s also not forget that the first vote followed a thread that lobbied to get Hamster unbanned. Do you think that influenced the first vote?

Trawler doesn`t post in the lounge. Pretty much all of his posts are about escorts and his experiences with them. You would be hard pressed to find anyone else who is as active in this hobby or involved in the board for its primary purpose - escort reviews.

You gotta get out of the BC section and look at his many posts in the Edmonton scene. Better yet do a search on him and check out the many, and I mean MANY reviews he's done, and you might end up voting for him. Of course if reviews don't mean anything and all you care about are posts in the Lounge, then he's not the right guy for you.

Since you're the guy that seems to start all these polls, maybe you should start one that recognizes the (relatively) newer posters like yourself and lenny, and other guys that have had an impact on PERB since joining, like SFMIKE. How about it?

And ~A~ jumps into 2nd place for now...

The surprising Trawler seems to be causing a huge log jam for 2nd place... still got 6 days to see how it pans out, but if the difference between 2nd and 9th is negligible.. I think I got a system to make sure the best candidates move on... more news to come.

Tentative system is to cut 1-2 this week, move 1 into the "finals", and then do 2 more week-long votes to get 2 more people into the "finals" (so that the votes from the "finalee" will then be spread over the remaining candidates in the interm)... and then do a 3-way race until the end of 2005. Right now, it looks like Trawler is a sure bet to make the final 3.

I am a believer in podiums like in racing... or gold, silver, bronze like the Olympics... this isn't Top Gun where there are no points for 2nd place. So that is why I decided to go with a 3 candidate extended poll for the finalee.

I think this should be a fairly fool proof way of getting the best 3 into the finals... any feedback?
