Bad Attitude, most likely Fake! Just posted today on LL under Dom/Fetish in Winnipeg. Took 2 hours to respond, then she demanded 180 deposit (more than 1/2 the 300 hr rate). I said that I’d me more comfortable with $50 deposit and sent her a photo of the $300 cash to prove I was real. She started to get annoyed and called me a time waster!! That made me suspicious so I asked her to provide links to her reviews so I knew she wasn’t fake, and she became even more rude. If she is real, she doesn’t know how to treat her good customers,
Especially me who was just honoured by Perb for my 100th post as a customer in good standing for 10+ years and mostly positive reviews. Don’t waste your time guys.

Just to play Devil's Advocate, maybe her response was in keeping with her on-line persona. She advertises as a BDSM provider, Maybe her schtick is demeaning,,verbal abuse and she was giving you what she thought you might like.
About 20 years ago, when i first started in this, most locals advertised in the Uptown. I remember calling a lady who was quite rude. She kept telling me to shut up and that she was in charge and would ask the questions. I think she even called me a twerp. Anyway after a couple of minutes I hung up. When I checked the ad again she was a dominatrix. Obviously in character and giving me what she thought I would like.
I should have read the ad more thoroughly.

Although exceptions may exist, I think anyone asking for a deposit is most likely fake or else very new to the business.

It may seem like a good idea from the provider’s viewpoint, but most guys just won’t do it.

It must be pretty frustrating for the ladies to deal with no shows.

note to PERB... how about a reputation ranking system for providers to rank customers on PERB by their handles...kind of like eBay reputation scores.

Pics are stolen, her ad is fake, I posted as such on adventureguy's duplicate thread in the 411 section. I find the scammers get pissed-off fast when the mark doesn't quickly rollover and play into the scam. Fraudsters must see their line-of-work as an honourable profession and think we lowly potential victims should respect their time.

As an aside, there is a scammer who has been working the LL dom&fetish section nationally with an ad using photos of an edgy and milfy-looking Asian domme, using different names and numbers but drawing on the same photo set. This "Mistress Betty" ad may be him, changed the pics to try to stay ahead of guys like me who flushed him out.

I was gonna make a comment similar to the ones above...do your research, find reliable sources and boards, and if you cannot find anything to verify the poster, in no way do you send a deposit! I can tell you I made a huge mistake with someone, who I later discovered was posting the same ad across the country in Fetish/BDSM sections, a couple years back , and paid a deposit. Can tell ya, as you probably have guessed, once the deposit was accepted, 'she' never replied again....I see some high end SP's (often travelling) sometimes ask for deposits, but again, if you find info to verify them, then you are most likely ok.
