Missing the old Craigslst Therapeutic Ads

Does anyone else miss the Therapeutic Ads that used to run on Craigslist? While there were a lot of scammers there were a few gems that popped up, especially the females you could find close by without having to travel to far. Some had good rates, negotiable and provided great service.

Would love to see some of those females again?

Yes I agree. Back in the Craigslist days a girl could quietly and easily turn a few tricks out of her basement suite in some middle class neighbourhood without making a career change of it. You know - if her old man was late with his support payment. LOL.

Craigslist was more well mainstream so you would get a lot more amateur girls trying it out or just doing it short term etc. Most normal people don’t know anything about Leolist or this website. So there are probably tons of girls out there that could be contributing to the SP pool but aren’t

Craigslist was great, especially for the student types in need of extra cash

a fairly famous SP from Victoria got her start on Craigslist in the women seeking men casual encounters section when she wanted a quick hookup. A Perb member ended up replying, (unbelievably lucky) and he made the “suggestion” that if she wanted a quick hookup she could do so and also get paid, just by advertising in a different section, told her about Perb, etc...

I agree, craigslist was the best place to meet normal girl next door type.... any other site that is even close to craigslist ???

Ive had some luck with locanto. Lots of fake ads though. Maybe if we use it more itll get popular like craigslist.

I absolutely miss that CL section. There were real gems, a lot of amateur girls with a totally different vibe than the pros you can find to day on LL.

But even if the CL ads would still be around I believe the skyrocketing real estate prices had a much stronger impact on the amateur SP type demographic.
My reasoning is that until about 10 years ago or so, a single person was able to afford a one bedroom living off minimum wage or close to minimum wage, and therefore they were able to do casual SP gigs working from their own home relatively easily. The CL ads were also free so it was easy to do this as a side gig.

In today's real estate someone living close to minimum wage cannot even get close to living by themselves and many young people live with roommates sharing the housing costs. As such the casual SP gig it's virtually impossible to start due to the shared living conditions.

Locanto had a couple in the Fraser Valley last year , sadly they were short lived and the rest seem to be druggies . OHMY seems to have the odd one pop up but I have not been able to connect and I suspect many ads are old and dated like Locanto , OKZ occasionally had an independent listing throughout the lower mainland , but also seem to be short lived
