Missed Opportunities!!!!

Tonight once again I had a chance to strike up a nice conversation with a good lookin lady, only to act too late and watch her walk away.
I was sitting in the Blenz at Davie and Granville tonight sucking back a nice mocochillo when this very nice looking girl walks in and sits down within talking distance.
She was a liitle younger and I could tell she was alone. She pulled out a notebook and began writhing something. I was sitting there stealing glances at her and smiling, trying to find something to say.
She then pulls out an ipod from her bag, and then gets up to leave.
She then shocks me by saying "Have a good night" and leaves.
I just about got up and followed her to say something.

It was amazing, It came right out of the blue. One of those encounters that you don't expect or are ready for.
I am really kicking myself for not saying anything. OOHH Well.

Probably her way of saying "you totally blew it dude!!!"

Next time say anything no matter how stupid.

Although I usually have to remember when dealing with normal chicks a good ice breaker is NOT "will ya do a BJ for 20"

One chick actually sat down on the stand next to the sofa I was sitting on, in a pretty empty lounge. I always kind of wonder what to say in that situation. If she were a stripper, I'd say "Hey baby, slide on over."

Weather

Talk about the weather...everyone's interested in the weather...

Example:

Man: "Hey, it's supposed to hit 30 degrees today!"

Woman: "Wow! I know it's sooo hot. Does your place have A/C?"

Man: "Why yes it does as a matter of fact."

Woman: "Good! We should probably fuck at your place then."

Well, not really, but you get the point.

I suspect that she noticed you were staring and it made her uncomforable that is why she left but she made her comment to let you know that she saw you staring. If she had wanted to talk to you, obviously she would have since she had no problem giving you the little staring reprimand before walking away.

Next time either be a little more subtle if you aren't going to say anything to her so you don't scare her off or be a little bolder, the worst thing that can happen is that she walks away again.
