I've been to the Marine Corps Ball and they strongly advise dressing conservatively. At the time I had some piercings (lip etc) and was asked to take them out. It's a big deal and they are HUGE on tradition, honour, integrity .... ooo-rah! :) It was a great experience!

The article suggested this Marine ball is a tradition that goes back about 200 years. Mila was probably making a safe choice with the dress. Good for her.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but sometimes classy is sexier than slutty.

You're a moron - Perhaps you need to camp out in a tent somewhere for the Occupy movement! And yes, that is the American dream. The marine also had a choice of what he wanted to do with his life - he could have chosen a different career that would have made him more money. The key is that he has a choice!
