Mgf - what a booking fuck-up!!!

.......here comes the SCATHING - sort of - REVIEW

After you read this story, you'll be glad Alexandra and Monica don't operate heavy equipment, or fly commercial aircraft. :fear:They'd hit the CN Tower and precipitate Canada's own 9-11. Two ditzy Quebec chicks trying to operate a 1990s-level Internet booking system they likely bought second-hand on eBay. :crazy: God help us all!

So, I thought I'd try my luck with MGF again, as things went reasonably well last time, although Alexandra and Monica always pack the bookings really, really tight.

First I send an email, and being a dumb-ass myself, forgetting what a very wise man once told me: “Never give a woman a choice. They just lock-up. You have to lead and tell them how it's gonna' be.”, I let them know I had wide-availability for Wednesday and some time in the afternoon on Thursday. I wanted to give them a chance to slot me in where it worked best for them, and all would be happy. What a considerate guy, don't you think?

The promised reply within 1/2 hour was not forthcoming but then I noticed they gave preference to clients using their Internet booking system (as they say, to error is human, to really fuck things up use a computer), I tried for an afternoon booking first.

It comes back: “You are on a waiting list”.

Huh?

As well, an email comes in to ask me to “activate” or “cancel” my booking. Why would I want to cancel right after booking? Why “activate”? I wouldn't have contacted them if I didn't want to see a girl.

If you look at the booking drop-down menu, it allows specific times for the evening, but “afternoon” and “morning” allegedly default to “waiting list”.

I book again, thinking I need to get a guaranteed time, forced to take an early evening slot. Same email comes back asking me to activate or cancel. I activate.

Two emails come back, but I only open one (thinking the other is just a resend) and it assigns me a specific time for the afternoon on Thursday, but that time clashes with my other obligations.

I phone to try to cancel, but as you know Alexandra and Monica seem to have a policy about not talking to clients. And they resist texting (no reply ever comes back), the faster, better technology of the 21st century.

With a little effort, I manage to cancel the afternoon-waiting list appointment and ask for another one. Here's the exasperating, crazy chain of email messages that follows :frusty::

you have now an appointment with Laura on thursday 14th at 3:15pm for 1hr/250 in Winnipeg. Please reply this email to comfirm your appointment.

But they knew this time didn't work either. Damn, NEVER let a woman try to make the scheduling decisions, it confuses them. Now I open the other email and find, yes, I DO have an appointment at 5:30 pm on Wednesday. GREAT!

I see there IS an appointment for me at 5:30 pm tomorrow (Wednesday). I didn't realize I was double-booked.

I can keep that appointment time.

you have only your appointment on wednesday at 5:30pm with Laura, i have cancel the other one.

You'd think all would be settled by now, but NOOO-OOOOO, these two ladies still want to screw with me. A few hours later I get this email:

They never use text, these luddite chicks. THIS bullshit email comes back:

WTF??? First they want me to switch to 12:45, then the time is GONE! I reply:

I thought you wanted 12:45 pm on Thursday? I was trying to accommodate you.

Perhaps reflecting on their own inanity, they send this unsolicited email message to me a few hours later:

Now, I'M going to be the stupid fuck. I ACTUALLY take her at her word :crazy:, confirming with their archaic online booking system AND send an email (text messages still no reply, despite me pleading with them to use them):

Yes, confirm 12:45 pm for one hour on Thursday. Please confirm u received this message AND WILL NOT GIVE THE TIME SLOT AWAY.

I'm pissed now.

On Wednesday, they email to confirm:

You have an appointment tomorrow Feb.14th with Laura at 12:45 am for 1hr/250

Note she put in am, not pm. I fire back, using bold to make a point. These girls are not too bright, and every detail needs to be managed or this appointment is going off the rails:

As you know, MGF gives out the hotel room # in advance, rather than doing the more common confirm-by-text-five-minutes-before-from-the-lobby. I send a courtesy text anyways at 12:40 pm from the lobby anyways. No reply. :frusty:

I go up to the hotel room, the maid is just outside the door as I arrive, and we both hear from the room in a booming voice that carries down the hallway:

“Hi, Laura, welcome to Winnipeg. My name is (pooner's name redacted). I've seen Karla and Sarah before. Hey, can you give me back $10 from my twenty? I don't have exact change. I've been to Montreal before.....blah, blah, blah....”

SHHHEEEEE-IT! THE MONTREAL AIRHEADS HAD DOUBLE-BOOKED POONERS ANYWAYS! I must have been just behind this guy!

In the only moment of levity I got from the whole business, I turn to the maid and say: “Geez, he's cheap. He should have left the $10 as a tip.”

Maid says: “Yeah, he's cheap. What's ten dollars, he's going to have sex, he should be in a good mood and pay her!”

I went back to the lobby, phoned Laura's room to let her know she had been double-booked, and she confirmed with me some other guy had just started banging her at......12:45.

What a waste of Viagra!

I'm done with MGF. They are just trying to pack as many wallets within 24 hours on top of a hot girl as they can get away with, and don't care too much about the customers carrying those wallets.

I have used MGF in Toronto, Edm, Wpg and Mtl. I had a great experience with them until the last time Sarah came out. Alexandra screwed up my timings badly. Same deal as M69. I was confirmed, then moved, then confirmed and then they canceled me because Sarah had to change hotels unexpectedly, re-booked and then I confirmed by email for my Appt in 1hr, another email was sent to me asking to confirm again 40min later, I missed it since I had earlier confirmed just a few min prior so I was canceled again. A true mess. I sent an email voicing my disapproval and I receive back a very curt and rude email saying next time I need to reply quicker. I came back that in the last yr I have used their services in 4 cities and have spent over $2500 during that time. I eventually got an appointment with a $20 discount. Nice of MGF to discount me but my time is worth way more than that. I am not sure if I will use them again.

Me too I,like the girls specially Laeticia and Emma. My favorites. I do hate the way you have to bookmmi have had several screw ups and many dissapointments. This time I booked an hour with Laura as Sony as I got the email (I am in their email list) I booked right away for the 13th at 9 am. As usual I never got a reply for almost one week and on the 12 they sent me an email saying that she could meet me at 9 but only on the 14th. They aske me if I could make it. I canceled the whole thing because is the same bullshit. I booked one week in advance for the same reason. They decided to let me know one day prior to my appointment and ask me if I can take a different day? I should have asked for a discount and maybe take the appointment. I just got mad.
The girls are beautiful. I will wait for them to send Laeticia or Emma and for sure will book no matter how stupid the system is. I wish we can jus call and be simple.

I also had a little problem with the booking system, but it all work out at the end.

I push cancel the night before for 1 tues app & accept on thrus appointment.
They email & text me the next afternoon to confirm the appointment I already cancel.
The appointment that I did confirmed, they either didn't get it or just cancelled it all together.
I check my email on thurs & they told me to confirm, since someone else cancelled.

It could be multiple people are managing the schedule, and don't work well as a team.

Sorry to here about your troubles M69, but so far, MGF has been good for me, I like there booking system. I did have to cancel on Sarah last month because of the Flu and used there cancel apt. forum. But I wasn't sure if it took or not, so I followed up with an e-mail, MGF did respone and say my apt. was cancelled. I've had not problems with the 3 - 4 apts. I've booked, and the ladies are all top rate. I do think they should have given you at least a $50. discount for your troubles.

I had no problem booking with MGF, but possibly because of this posting. After I read the original Master 69 post, I thought I better make sure everything was smooth. I emailed confirmation the day before and advised that i would like to text 5 minutes prior to the appointment. I did text 5 minutes before and they responded right away. Perhaps they read this post and tried to clean up the booking act?

I feel for you Master 69. I had a double booking situation with Body Language. Luckily I never proceed without confirmation a few minutes before the appointment. I was in the parking lot when I found out and not standing facing a fellow pooner in the hotel. Your situation sounds like a cluster fuck, and not in a good way!

I think they've been having a busy go of it lately. I had two appts with Emma in Calgary booked since last month (no problems arranging them originally), early last week I needed to change one of them or else my trip would have looked like go to edm, then Calgary, back to edm then back Calgary ( the little head planned this trip "I want in there! THAT ONE TOO!! HOLY HELL I REMEMBER HER!!" what an idiot.... Scratch that his choices kicked ass, the big head's choice of "mmmm I like this wine, must have more....." not so much).

ANYWAYS!! They promptly got back to me the next day saying they might have a solution and will get right back to me. Well four days of twiddling my thumbs, while another lady waited as well holding TWO 4 hour slots for me till they got back to me and I could finalize one of them, I finally said screw it and emailed to cancel both. A few emails back and forth and within 5mins everything was resolved for me (wasn't ideal as it put a 3hr appt in the late evening followed by a 2hr appt early next morning, and on the same days that some good dj's would be in Edmonton - but the back to back bookings actually really work out for me very well).

I thought everything was good, but the night before when they sent confirmation my appts were now for 1 hour.... Ok it takes me an hour to get fully wound up, if I tried to do an hour appt I wouldnt make it out of the lobby before I'd start to hump the furniture trying to releive the pressure in what would be my grapefruit sized balls. Now I'm freaked out and ready to swear off agencies all together, start driving to Vancouver at 1 am to see someone who'll fuck me in all the RIGHT ways and not these WRONG ones.

Well I ended up thinking better of it and figured the woman I had booked was quite a good time, and I did want to see her again, plus this wasn't her fault and she would be the one having 5 hours of appts canceled basically the day of so really she would get the worst of this (I'm sure things may have rebooked but stress sucks) as I had many good back up plans hatched at this point. So I texted and gave them a deadline to get an answer to me as at that time I would have to start driving somewhere. I woke to find a very suitable answer, a discount (which she assured me would come out of their pocket not the lady's - that was important as really the provider had nothing to do with this) and all well before my "point of no return". On top of it all Emma treated me muuuuch better than I remember (which was quite good in it's own right).

I have had an issue with them before in which another lady's touring schedule got rearranged multiple times turning a couple days venture of mine from going to Regina, having a date, spend night in Regina, have a date with with someone else turn into go to Brandon, get blown silly, stay waaaay too late (lady's choice of course), drive 2hrs home, go into comma for 3hrs, go to Regina, get there in time to have Chrystal try and give me a heart attack for 4 straight hours (I swear I'm nearly positive the woman hates me and is trying to kill me - and to think my dumbass is giving her an accomplis next month....fuck you little head). Anyways it worked out but with more work on my end than intended.

They've manage to resolve my issues for me, it does feel like jumping through hoops with them, and it did cause me to have a hissy fit which I feel really stupid about (and is NOT a habit I want encouraged). Thing is, they have some really great women (Emma is most assuredly top notch ridiculously great AND an absolute beauty as far as I'm concerned; and Amelie showed me "wow" service with a superb attitude, not too mention the good reviews of the other models they've sent this way). So I'm willing to put up with some flack and deal with some bumps in the road. In fact them ultimately resolving my problems this time and Emma showing me an outstanding time has boughten them some loyalty for sure.

Heck it's much better than the baby cow ladies who advertised a duo special (on that board), booked one for me, then I basically didn't hear squat from them and ended up missing out on 2 escorts I wanted to see.

I will suggest one thing. I've recently begun using edmontongfe (calgarytna, vic2van, and sweet vips - are basically run by the same two women). They only do bookings via a phone call (no email or text) and mostly only take a booking the day before you want it (this is proving to be most successful out of their experience - and I can see why). I don't like mgf's online booking form though, I much prefer sending emails, but I can understand why they may not like it. However from seeing this thread some tweaks are in order I think.

Maybe my post sounded negative, but the point I was trying make was yes things did come to a boiling point (for me) but as soon as I brought it to their attention the matter was resolves very quickly and in my favor. Very professional and well done.

As well ultimately I'm the moron as I booked dates in Edmonton, Calgary, Edmonton, Calgary with the first three literally in 3 days. Without the help of the MGF team my week off most likely would not have gone off as splendidly as it did (of course big thanks is due to Emma as well as my time with her was a very big highlight of that week - not to gush but too often we discuss gfe and pse in terms of services offered what Emma provides is a true gfe in every sense of the word and was more convincingly intimate than any experience I've been presented with so far, it left me afterwards thinking "wow, what a truly great escort" and made me rethink my snickering every time I see a lady attach the title "courtesan" to herself - Emma may call herself whatever she likes I'll simply call her the best at what she does in the way she does it. As well the other lady who was patient with me deserves thanks as well). Had I not felt the need to change about my dates there would most likely been no issue at all, and I'm certain many others would have been steadfast in "no you're keeping your appt for when you booked it".

I would like to mention that, unlike many who would sooner respond publicly on the forum to these matters (which at times causes a scene), I received a well worded email stating her position and her feelings that my comaints were not fair (it wasn't my intent to complain, but I can see it being taken a such as in this thread mgf is somewhat being raked through the coals - and we all are aware m69 has a whip for a tongue lol. Not saying he doesn't have reason to be upset, he does from his pov, just saying he may be the champion of scathing remarks). I find this to be very, very professional (as I've seen someone else who all believe to be of the highest calibre attempt to bring a private disput public, unprovoked as well, which displays to me a very clear lack of character), and I found it very refreshing.

It cannot be simple organizing tours in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Vancouver, all while managing the rest of their models in Montreal (I had difficulty arranging 4 dates with 3 women in 2 cities over a week - so I am no position to judge), misshaps are bound to occur.

For myself personally the quality of provider they send to us has far exceeded those of BLE (in my experiences), and although yes they do come off as short and curt (which can be construed as rude - I'll mention this after) but I do find them more personable to deal with than calling GOE which to me was akin to setting up a dentist's appt.

As for them coming off as short, curt, and even rude. They are french. I'm uncertain how many people on this board are accustom to dealing with the varieties of french people (outside of independent escorts who while you're there are making themselves as agreeable as possible while you're there); but I grew up in NB (bilingual province filled with Acadians), attended university in Quebec, and live in Banff for many years which has a large number of Quebec transplants out there for the same reason I was (living on the SK/MB border is actually the first time in my life I hear only english around me - heck it's why most of the escorts I patronize are from Quebec, I miss french, not because of this ballyhooed notice that Quebec women are better at escorting - I get same service levels from the Vancouver providers I've met as the Quebec touring ladies); well that shortness is what pops up in the translation, and it's most evident in written communications. This isn't an insult, and I've seen it most my life, they aren't rude, they're just french - for some reason it comes off as rude, they aren't (a lady actually told me she is worried about it and that's why she stays with an agency, so they can do the communications for her).

Anyways. I do believe that we look at both sides of the coin and a little understanding is in order. We fellows aren't always the easiest group to deal with, this business is inherently selfish for us, and we are so accustom to being treated like kings that from time to time we may act like spoiled brats to one degree or another in one way or another (we want our vfm, we want to be coddled, we want, we want; and some when they don't get it make sure everyone knows) I'm willing to bet that nearly every guy here has had his moments, even the most grounded of guys. So yes I'm certain I deserved some understanding with the situation (which as I said, I actually put myself into, but also remember wha was important to me was a prompt answer, not a specific answer) I also deserve to feel the embarrasment I do for getting too worked up over something when it really wasn't necessary.

Unlike some independents who "make it up to someone" by promising to treat them extra nice (which really means nothing); mgf actually did make it up to me, when really they didn't have to. Personally I'll be looking for other opportunities to give them business, and if I have to jump through the hoop that is that infernal booking system then so be it.

I feel your pain, Master69, but this is my second time doing business with MGF and so far so good! Maybe it was "just one of those things"... relax! I'm sure they're not some evil french villain girls plotting to make your life miserable. Mistakes are made, and you either arrange to fix them, or walk away. Thanks for sharing, though, in case this becomes a bigger problem and more common, we'll have your testimony as background.

So far, though, you are the first person I've read complaining about this, so I tend to believe it was just a hiccup in their system of doing things.
