Here's the basic thought process than led up to things.....talking to a buddy about the various things we've used for target practice over the years (he grew up on a ranch and we'd get creative with what we shot at)....conversation shifted to the expectations in how the Conservatives are going to nuke the gun registry but one of the positives of the program was it raised awareness on the safe storage of firearms.....I offhandedly mentioned that I had a safe in my basement who's locking assembly was fucked and I needed to get motivated to haul the piece of shit to the dump....from there you can do the math
