Experience in acquiring forest mensurational data employing standardized methods within a field environment.
Experience in processing and analyzing forest mensurational data employing standardized methods within a laboratory environment.
Work Environment
Profile: The Mensurationist designs, organizes, implements and reports on analytical, experimental and investigative portions of mensurational-based research studies conducted
within office, laboratory and field environments, in the support of the attainment of scientific knowledge for use in sustainable forest resource management. Requires a specialized knowledge of (1) forest mensuration concepts and associated computational and analysis procedures, and (2) boreal tree demography and associated sampling and analysis procedures.
