To the Gentleman @ Four Seasons who made plans to meet w/Amber

To the gentleman that identified himself as Napoleon: Please be advised that our meeting today was impaired by circumstances out of my control. After arriving at the Four Seasons hotel, I was stopped by hotel staff at which time a room key was asked of me. Following my explanation of being in the hotel that evening visiting a friend residing in room 11xx, I was asked to reveal the surname of the guest. I said that I thought it was Napoleon. He checked. Nope, wrong name. He wouldn`t let me up so I tried to call you but the same problem arose from the phone guy. Aaaghhhh, so frustrating! :( Taking into consideration the fact that there had been no provision made to allow for my after-hours passage to the guest's room (responsibility of the guest), I was asked to leave. I had no recourse in this matter and offer my apology for our meeting not taking place. Hopefully, similar situations do not occur. Thanks again, maybe sometime we`ll manage to meet.

Sincerely
Amber

Nicely put Amber. Let's hope Napoleon reads this. It is always necessary to know the surname of a guest before a hotel will put a call through to their room. Bad luck on getting stopped before you got in the elevator but again knowing the guest's surname is necessary if you are stopped and challenged. A frustrating experience for both of you.

Nicely put, unfortunately you have no other recourse or way to get hold of that person and I dont think it is wise to try and sneak up the service elevators etc.

Too funny!

Although if I were an sp, I would be a bit suspicious of a client who's name was "Napoleon".

If you get a call from a "Ross Ewage" or "Ivan Atinckle".....don't go ;)

I always find arranging to meet in the lobby or the bar works better in the case where the hotel is funny about people, or has been the case recently, requires a room key to get the elevator to work. :)

Was it really late? Were you dressed provocatively?
I just find that weird, I've never had problems, i wonder if they are cracking down or something.
I`ve never had problems before either. The weird thing was that I was dressed very conservatively, dress pants and a long wool coat. I arrived there at 11:30pm, not too late at all. It was an embarressing experience and I guess I learnt a lesson. I appreciate all of your input. Have a good day!!

In a nice wet pussy!
To echo Captain Bly...

Always, always, always agree to meet in the Lobby (or preferably, the Lounge) for the following reasons:

1. Meeting in the Lobby makes you appear to be a business contact.
2. Your client is most probably using an alias.
3. You want to size up the client and any other situation before proceeding.
4. Many 5-star properties have increased their security procedures.
5. You want to touch up your make-up and pee downstairs instead of the client's bathroom.
