That sounds very interesting. However, it could be very awkward if someone you worked with or a relative showed up!!!
This happened to me at one of Sydnee's parties.
I happen the have a very good memory for faces and names, even when I meet someone years later.
I recognized a fellow as someone who I had done some work for him and his wife a few years before. I wasn't sure if he recognized me but after an hour or so I was sure he had.
At one point as I was speaking with the lovely Valentina he walked by. I simply raised my glass to him, said good evening and gave him a wink.
We both respected the "Code of the Pooner" and it wasn't a problem.
That is why the participants of these get togethers need to be "vetted". Sydnee would screen the participants and you had confidence knowing anyone there knew the rules.
If you advertise an open gathering at some bar it likely won't attract many people because many of us, ladies included, don't need the chance of someone showing up who has loose lips or running into a "civilian" we know, wondering why you are here and whoa re these people you are sitting with.
