For those in the kno, Dr. K once hosted a post WERL bash, or perhaps was just in the way when the WERL train crashed into her living room. So she's got huge street cred on this subject IMHO. And given that WERL was a rogue western upstart of MERL (Men's Equality, Rights and Liberation), Dr. V was a great supporter of such an important cause, which we now call shit like social justice, but back in the day we preferred a more revolutionary approach to counter all the politcal correctness sweeping our landscape, through drunken merriment and social debauchery.
It's a long story which will take many beers to fully explain, which was one of the reasons WERL became an actual successful perbites meet n greet that was not an organized revenue event. Just real people enjoying some kinship, and partying up a storm. I dunno if there's a rebound op here, but maybe the good Dr. has a few perscriptions up here sleeve.

Yes Victoria puts together good gatherings and fund raisers sometimes 40 plus people would show up great man/woman ratio ... So far the best meet and greet I have been to was in Ottawa

OK Dr. V, when you have the Edster secured and know a date you two will be in town, we'll get the shit show going. I have a great idea for some hilarious "light entertainment", a guaranteed pant pee-er. (An upgrade from 'pin the tail on the Eddie'.) We'll get the pm's with secret location going closer to the date. Yes Unc, going back to our roots would be a fine choice, at least for starters. I will commence shopping for WERL wrist beads and dust off the old secret werl handshake.
