Ok so I FINALLY ran out of Eternity... so disappointing... it was a decade of great smell, great ladies, and some memorable romps as a result of smelling nice. Man, I was thinking of returning it to Calvin Klein demanding a refill... maybe I could hire Lionel Hutz to be my attorney... "Does this look like a man who got an ETERNITY of cologne?" (in reference to the episode where he says "does this look like a man that had ALL he could eat???")
Been researching the colognes every time I was in the Bay or Sears. I really liked the Armani Acqua Di Gio, but thought it was a bit overpriced at $93. The lady said a gift set would be coming out end of October so I waited. Finally, it came out. As a bonus, you get the aftershave and shampoo/conditioner, which is "supposedly" a $150 value for $93. It also comes in a nice box, so I bought it. I didn't think it would get much better than that.
In order to choose it, a lady friend and I used what we referred to as the "f$ckability factor." Which cologne would make her want to f$ck me the most right on the spot, right in the store, at any given time. It came down to 2 colognes, but Di Gio won out. We even asked the sales lady "does this cologne make you wanna do him?" She blushed and said "no comment." So, like Lionel Hutz says "CASE CLOSED."
After our purchase, they gave us a sample of almost every cologne in the store. So far, none of them strike my fancy or hers except POLO Black. She said the f$ckability factor of that one is quite high as well.
In my cologne buying binge of the 90's, I still have Drakhar Noir which I like to use once in a while, Escape (I liked it at first, but now I dislike it), Red (not even sold any more... came with a nice gift set with Red socks, but the actual cologne kinda stinks), and Preferred Stock (the cheapest piece of sh$t cologne good for when u want to smell like a pimp and drive all the ladies AWAY from you
). Which ones should I keep?
