MBO - Maverick Brother One - (looking for entertaining posts to nominate)

I`ve decided to start my own online game on PERB. The object of the game is to write entertaining "blerbs" or "rants" or posts of a "sarcastic" or "satirical" nature. The winning post each week will earn a place in the MHOF - Maverick Hall Of Fame.

Here are the rules.

1. I am considered the first MOP - Maverick Of PERB... and for the time being, will be the only MOP. As the game evolves, I may let the weekly winner be the MOP for a week.

2. Each week sometime on Thursday, I will start a thread accepting posts (copied from other threads) for consideration.

3. Sometime on Saturday, I will put 2 posts up for nomination. These posts will be decided by me and no appeals are allowed (sorry ). If you don`t like my decision, you will have a 2nd chance in the MPOV (Maverick Power Of Veto) competition.

4. I will make a poll allowing people to vote for the best post. I will also allow 4 other spots to allow people to "challenge" the 2 nominations. The first 4 people to post a challenge will also take part in the voting.

5. Sometime on Tuesday, I will take a look at the voting. If any of the challenges beats out 1 of the 2 nominations in popularity, then that post will win the MPOV - Maverick Power Of Veto. That post will then take 1 of the 2 spots (the weaker of the original 2 nominations gets the boot).

6. The final nominations will go head to head in a separate poll to determine who gets permanently enshrined into the Maverick Hall Of Fame for that week.

Ususally groups and clubs are started by more than one person that share a core group of interests / values.

Do you have friends out side of this board (serious questions).

In case you don't watch the show, MOP is a knock-off of the HOH (Head Of Household) on BB6.

2. No Ace, you're my only friend on and off PERB.

3. I've semi-retired from the hobby due to chronic health problems. A little too much excitment and I could have my 3rd heart attack.

4. No, I'm a single 73 year old (almost 74) over 300 lbs with a huge mole on my face. It's pretty hard to score when you look like me. That's why I need to pay for it.

My handle on here is ACE85, but you obviously are more attached to MAVERICK (numerous third person references) than I am to ACE.
