She was not subjected to "massive protests" at all. It was just the usual idiots on the internet. No different than virtually any story on a news site that remotely concerns race or immigration. The stories about it simply quote twits on some social media program that is considered important at he moment.
In the idiotic twitter universe Hank, it's considered massive if there are more than 69 tweets...

The point is not the actual number of protests, the point is that the Hindustan, a newspaper journal, interpreted those protests as massive. And my point with that is that it is an example of how colored folks feel embattled by what they perceive as white racism. Now we can debate until we are all blue that white racism is pervasive, and nobody will ever come to a certain conclusion about that because there will always be a good white person of the many that are there, who doesn't think that it is much of a problem except for an extreme few. But perception is everything. The point is, is that when you are a member of the minority, you live life against the standard of the majority, so you perceive life as inherently slanted against you, and a member of the majority is unable to perceive that because they have the luxury of being oblivious and because of that, get incredibly hurt when they are accused of being racist or are attacked racially.
