As a whole, escorts are safer than the average girl you'd pick up at a bar. This is our livelyhood so we make damn sure to protect anything that could end it.
I would only agree with this statement partially. There are FAR too many silly, uneducated girls in this industry that DON"T really get the repercussions of unconvered sex, saliva-transfer diseases, condom etiquette, hygiene, and the general emotional toll of turning sex into a job. For every 5 well-educated, balanced and stable SP's out there, theres at least 1 new girl that thinks it will "never happen to her" and continues with relationships outside of work only to bring their work home either physically in the form of a STI, or emotionally from the fact of trying to be in a relationship and have sex with other people for money. This is assuming, of course, there are no hard drugs in the relationship. That just messes everything up.
Plus there's just something refreshing about picking up someone thats NOT in the industry. Its a turn on to know their pretty much not having sex all the time with strangers, and statistically, they would actually have less chance of being exposed to STI's simply due to the number of partners a year. # of people a SP sleeps with in a year : over 200 easily. # of people a non-SP sleeps with in a year : maybe 20. If its a busy year.
