Mason Raymond getting traded?

There has been a rumor that Canucks may trade Mason? The team can use more spirit in their play, but who can Canucks get for Mason?

Mason is not worth much. He doesn't suck as bad as Booth though. That guy would go down if Haley Wickenheiser checked him in the corners. Booth is as weak on his skates as they come.

He'd only go as a package with Schnied's and either/or Ballard, Booth or Bieska depending on who it's for. I love all the rumours though, makes for interesting reading. My favorites so far, and ones that I would take in a heart beat are for Nash (imagine the big guy playing with Kes and Higgins), Weber or Perry. We can always dream......

Rumours are a dime a dozen. The Canucks forum has so many utterly stupid ones. Granted there is no age requirements to join that site, and these could be 10 year olds posting.

When you look at trades, you must consider both teams. DOES THE OTHER TEAM BENEFIT???

Ballard for example. This is one of those times Gillies missed with that contract. Do you think there are other teams out there right now saying "damn wish we could have a guy like Ballard on our team, and that 4.5 million cap hit, too good to be true"

There has been a new Raymond rumour every week since summer. Who are all these other teams dying to get him?

I don't see why the Canucks need a Mason, Booth and Higgins...basically the same players...they could get rid of all of them and it wouldnt matter...
