I have spent a fare share of time in Manhattan. First of all, try to find a massage parlour there. They don't exist. Second, the types of ladies in this place would easily go for $800 to $1k in NYC. $250-$300 will get you Shonequia (don't care if I spelled that right) from north of 125th (Harlem) St. Complete with the coke nose and Puerto Rican Anselmo waiting downstairs in case he needs to club you to death.
NYC has some of the ugliest women on earth, and I think it is a mistake to compare our good quality SP's to theirs.
I hate pretentious b.s. and I won't visit this new place for that reason alone. I drove by one day, and "Manhattan Men's Club" in old school prohibition era font. In the middle of an industrial area. How insulting to Noo Yohka's of all breeds.
Last time I was there I had a good discussion with the doorman and the manager of a well-known lap dance joint (Flashdancers) who advised me that there were a few massage parlours generally with asian women and that I best steer clear of them.
Of course, I could be wrong, if they have undergone a complete overhaul of the sex trade in NYC over the last year, but I doubt it.

I agree. My point is that Edmonton and a lot of other Canadian cities seem to have some inferiority complex and use sales tactics that try and compare their products to famous companies, cities, etc. NYC is the most frequently used in the sales world.
Personally I believe Edmonton should be proud of its MP scene (if you can take pride in such despicable things we do). There should be an MP in Manhattan named the Edmonton Gentleman's Club. just to let you know I deleted a few posts on MMC as they are advertising by the sps at MMC. This includes the post Wolverine got that info from. I think we will adopt a stricter policy in regards to advertising from here on in. With the new board it is very easy for the mods to enforce temporary bans (which I have done to those sps that have been advertising despite being warned) and it is easy to check who is paid and who isn't. Also multiple handles can be easily checked. Sorry for the inconvience but we have to be fair to those who pay and support this board that we have.

Thanks TOFTT. A free ride is no more i think, advertising is getting a bit out of control of late I think. There are SOOO many sps on this edmonton forum, and so few contributers it startles me. In the vancouver forum, most of the major participants have been paying for a while. We have somewhat turned a blind eye on advertisements in edmonton in the past, but i think that has changed. I have issued a few "TEMPORARY BANS" to continued abusers of the system. I won't ban you right away, but if i continued abuse of the system occurs, sometimes it is the only way people listen. A slap on the wrist often does no good, but a slap with a whip might be a bit more convincing, and if this doesn't work... serious jail time (aka a long term ban) should convince??TOFTT said:

The rates that perb charges are very cheap compared to terb and merb, that is why it is fair to the ladies i think.We also have to keep things so the reviewers are happy for the most part, cause you guys are important for this site to exist as well. Some guys don't like it too much when they see ladies shamelessly self-promoting. They are here to read reviews. That is another reason why we have to charge for advertisements, just to keep this under control. I think for these reasons, we have no choice but to be very strict. It is the only way that works.

Lastly, It is difficult to keep everyone happy. I get complaints advertisements aren't deleted, and I get complaints advertisements are being deleted???? WTF gives, can't everybody be happy?? It is always our judgement as to what is advertising and what isn't, if i don't delete it someone will complain. Either way, someone is not happy. I guess that is the life of the moderator

What a four hour visit costs me in, say, LA, in Edmonton has been 4 hours, plus the cost of my airfare and room for the time I am here working.
Plus of course, as I said, the quality here is way, way above average.
