Man who killed off-duty cop receiving PTSD treatment funded by Veterans Affairs

Life and Death. Interconnected. We want to live life, but refuse to see death in it. Could be why people are so affected by ptsd.
The oldest written codes have punishment for murder. Usually death.
The drugs. Witnesses to death sentences don’t want to see the convicted murderer struggle to live, so drugs are used to put the subject under and then leathal drugs are injected to kill the murderer. Sensitivity. The murderer got better than the victim of the crime. What can be more cruel than waiting years for your sentence of death to be carried out...

Better a quick bullet to the head/guiotine and the short and violent resultant struggle for life. Just as was done to the victim.

But then somebody has to clean it up.....or the drug dead body cleared away.

So the bullet is way cheaper and quicker, and it offends everyone sense of civility because it is so brutal. Life’s a bitch and then you die...... suck it up.....get over it etc....

You see now death becomes more personal..... you see you can die.... so in the meantime live your life....

One way to think about a prison term for a murderer is that he is being punished. He is still alive, being fed 3 meals a day and gets a nice comfortable cot. Shelter and food. And then there is hope... to get out. Yep even though convicted, the murderer got away with murder...

Killing a man, ain't no small thing....it's never as simple as squeezing the trigger ,and just walking away.

That is correct you can't walk away if your human and not be affected. Is it justified?

In history religious wars, it is okay to kill the infindel... its okay to kill those people from another country they are taking our resources... they have a different idealogy than us....and today countries still allow these type of thinkings. Its murder in all but in the actual naming of it.... After all its justified if we go to war and kill people..... right!!

That is why there are courts. And every case all facts are to be looked at and presented. Evidence looked at. Due Diligence..

For our society somethings like murder cannot be overlooked; even if the suspect is mentally unfit. There are lines. Do not cross. But our society today is soft, well maybe he didn't mean to do it, he was mentally sick etc.

Right now the law states no death penalty.

So this guy is getting help from Veterans affairs because his father has PTSD. Well if he asked for help either the Veterans affairs or the Justice system will pay for his treatment. tax dollars either way.
