So, that is about 450 women (or girls) a year. And after his initial three-years living in Manila, this was accomplished through frequent vacations to the Philippines.
Mindboggling when you start to think of the numbers... and what he must have spent (even allowing for the fact that it was the Philippines and the cost would have been quite low).

Yep... and he as a teacher as well...

However, although it is disgusting to us, the Japanese Penal Code sets a minimum age of consent of 13 under certain circumstances. Keep in mind as well that those minimum ages may not have been in place earlier on, though clearly it was the case recently. So, although not right, it may not always have been illegal either.

Indeed. And so what may have been acceptable in Japan was not necessarily the case in the Philippines.
Although we are also assuming that the age of consent in the Philippines hadn't changed over that time.

Ok but who keeps track. Ok maybe Badger does but in all honesty it scares me to think of the last 30 years and the number of SPs I have seen and been with. I guess events where I have multiple SPs that would need to be count per SP not per event. Last Christmas event would be 5 SPs. Oh Christ you guys are killing me.

I am so glad I have not kept track it scares me.
