A recently posted ad on Leolist contains the following statement:
“No explicit texts! Rate includes safe service, private details discussed in person behind closed doors only. Service depends on chemistry, comfort and hygiene.”

Here are my concerns:
1. Re: “No explicit texts!”
I thing an explicit enquiry is the only way to avoid confusion and frustration. Of course, it should be composed in tasteful manner. It saves me (and the provider as well) the time when the services and associated rates are clarified prior coming to the location. It’s frustrating to find out you wasted half an hour by driving and found out you cannot close the deal because the provider doesn’t offer what you are looking for.

This is a big one. I enter an apartment, the door has closed and I am saying: “I will pay the money for receiving such and such erotic services”. It scares the crap out of me to imagine a couple of RCMP officers enter the room and play me my statement from a recording.

How does this even work? Is she able to assess me right upon the entrance that she is comfortable with me or I am clean enough to offer me certain kind of services? Or does she collects the payment and later she finds out I am not a nice person and/or there’s an issue with my hygiene and she gives me a refund for not completed services?

Would be interesting to learn some other perspectives.

I definitely know there are some providers who don't discuss any services before meeting for fear of making a promise they don't want to keep (for example they say they do BLS but then your balls are sweaty and covered in hair, and they don't like that and won't enjoy the experience). It's my understanding that if you're clean, groomed, considerate, and kind, you'll get a genuine GFE experience from these providers.

That's one of the benefits of a review forum, you can know more or less what to expect and PM other reviewers for details (especially if there's a DNR or provider requests not to share session details).
If that doesn't provide the info you need you can try arranging a phone call. Great way for both parties to get a feel for each other.
You still need to communicate in a tactful manner and let the provider set the tone into how explicit to be.

Again, ads/websites, reviews and postings give you most of what you need and a phone call can supplement a general feel of what you can expect.
You can also email the provider and indicate your preferences ahead of time and ask on the phone if she has any issues with your desires.
If you're looking for a "specification" of a session I don't know if too many independent GFE providers go there.

Completely understandable. Your job is to make your best effort to be clean and groomed (that is not rocket science) so you are not turning her off. You can also find ways to break the ice - a bottle of wine or bringing another treat can go a long way. Doing your research on the provider, what her interests are, what makes her laugh can support a chemistry even if at a physical level you are not her type.

I have never asked for what the lady's services are. I have been told by them or I have done some research. You should always be polite, respectful and squeaky clean. After that, its always YMMV.

My opinion is everyone is overthinking this. We all have "red flags" when researching a new lady. If these requests of said provider don't sit well with you, then consider them red flags and move on. If she has a positive review history then use your best judgement.

the entire province of BC is now covered by a "lowest level of enforcement" policy in line with the VPD policy and which was voted on and adopted by the BC Association of police chiefs...so as long as you are engaging in adult consensual activities, you should not fear police.
