Make any sense?

A number of SPs have advertisements all over the place, many with pretty clear pictures of faces etc., and contact information galore. Some of these even have other forms of exposure through photo ads etc. not directly related to their escort pursuits (I know of three I have seen doing that). Many of these again are Perb members and express their views when they feel the need.

So, what I am confused about is why do these same ladies go off the rails when a review or even a mention of their name shows up on this board? Even positive reviews seem to go missing. I made the error of posting a simple name in one of my first posts and I was pm'd in about 30 minutes and told not to use that name anymore. I did a search and sure enough, scrubbed clean.

This simply makes not sense to me. I know this is a follow on from "No Review List" thread but to avoid any subtle differences, I am particularly pointing out the ones who advertise in all kinds of places but then censor any mention of themselves here.

Does that hurt the value of a board such as this to have such censorship?

that's unfair business practice. I've had a few gentlemen ASK me if I minded a review. I love them. they are great for business, and a great way to advertise.

If I had an off night and managed to get a bad review, I would take it for what it was, apologize and get on with it.. but it wouldn't be wiped clean by my asking.. Unfair business.

I agree with the poll that showed overwhelmingly that people want to see the "no review" list to be posted. Otherwise, let decent reviews stand no matter who they are about and weed out the crap. Then the rules same for all SPs.

unfortunately BobbiVan is being very vague with the the scenario..as has been mentioned, guntno, in another thread by the mods...which I guess you missed since you just want to rerun it all in this thread is that the review being negative has NOTHING to do with being on the list..if a sp was on the list they would have NO reviews, positive or neg. but this is just sounding like a broken record because no matter how many times it's said ..someome is always going to stir the pot with bits and pieces of the actual situation

why don't you email Fred Zed and ask him ..I Highly doubt it has anything to do with secrecy..oh and guntno..your sense of humour is just as boring as superjoints..LOL

since this policy has been in effect since all of his boards have been in existance, for all of his boards, he most likely feels it's not needed. as members of all of these sites should be big enough to respect the rules and admins decisions...but again..you can always email him and find out instead of speculating out here, as NOONE but him will be able to shed light on it for you..it is HIS board after all

As the 1561st chuck, you seem to know a lot about how things work here so I guess your explanation is good for everyone else.

So instead of knowing who we cannot mention, we have to guess or find out by trial and error. Fair enough. I guess that was the case for the other 1560 chucks too?

you can shake your head all you want..and yes being a former mod for quite some time does give me some insite into how admin works..it also gives me some insight to recognize a posters who's been here under another handle ..and where is it that I said my explanation has to be good for anyone else..and why is it you WON'T deal with the site owner?? he's the one that would provide the list that you want..NOT the other members of this site..I'm very curious as to why you avoid the obvious solution to your problem?? or is it that you just want to spew off at the keyboard and not get the problem as you see it solved?? please enlighten me why you won't email Fred ?

Ah, the mysterious superjoint. I guess I have appeared after he left so you have drawn your conclusion as such. Well, you are not correct but so what if I was or am this superjoint? How does that change the validity of the request for the moderation team to post the list or stop the practice of variable censorship?

About what? Something that is a moderation issue? Something that has been voted on and the majority has spoken loudly? If the owner is allowing the moderation to do the job, then the moderator(s) can act accordingly. If the owner is not noting majority thought, one e-mail from a junior member isn't going to get his attention. Now, if I was the 1561st guntno maybe...

I really was only curious and did not want to get you so riled up. Relax a bit and take a deep breath; I am not one of the people you seem to be worried that I am. I am a rookie who is making rookie mistakes and you are correcting them though I will add with a fairly high degree of disdain and anger towards anyone who doesn't understand things as well as you do.

Well, it is that YMMV that we WANT to know about AND those minor details you talk about, we WANT to know that too. Rememer, pooning is a pretty shallow art form. We are not there to bond with a life partner and to many, and not going to be the lightning rod for this argument BUT it is true, the physical appearance of what they are shelling out big bucks for is of the highest importance.

To me, and others I am gathering, not having reviews available means that weighing the good and bad experiences of others cannot be used when making a decision on spending equivalent dollars to buying a MP3 player, DVD player or starter digital camera or whatever. Most would do at least some research on what they were buying.

What confuses me is the good service ladies who do not want reviews. I can see the rip off artists manipulating things as desperate acts of self-preservation but not the good ones.

If I knew that, before a session started, a client asked an SP if he could review her on PERB or that the SP already knew he posted reviews on PERB, I would tend to discount the review. After all, her services and attitude may then be unduly influenced by this knowledge.

I recall some SPs previously complained on PERB that a client (possibly more than one) had tried to use their presence on PERB or threats of a bad review on PERB to coerce her into giving a lower rate, longer session or more liberal services than normally offered.

On the other hand, I can see where knowing that a new client posts on PERB helps the SP to get a better feeling for that person in advance - which may be good (e.g. me ) or bad (e.g. Superjoint?).

IMHO, if a client does want permission to post a review (does the client even need permission?), they should wait until the session is over and they already have one foot out the door. Waiting until one foot is out the door is important for 3 reasons:

1. The SP won't feel any pressure to perform at that time.
2. The SP will likely still be undressed.
3. If she was really, really bad then - as soon as she hears you are going to post a review - you've already got a head start on her ........

I normally book appointments only by phone and I usually try to deny all knowledge of PERB and other review boards. I don't want an SP uptight wondering in advance what the hell I'm going to say about her on PERB, or worried I'll reveal some private information or some intimate details of the session that she doesn't want to publicize or offer to everyone. I have to admit an SP or two has discovered who I am on PERB - but not until after several repeat visits. Amazing the type of secrets you'll blurt out when she has you all worked up and on the edge of an orgasm but suddenly stops thrusting to ask you a question!

Oh - in case you're wondering. Yes - you and I have met.

Penhold, I take your point, but man I think some of us spend way to much time thinking about this.

Go to the girls you want, decide whether you like their service, and go back or not.

I book almost all my first appointments through PMs on PERB. I never ask for any special favours, nor do I expect them. I treat the ladies well, and I've almost always been well treated. In fact, the few bad experiences I've had is when I just e-mail or phone someone directly, without going through perb.

I can get an idea about what they want... or what they don't like (ie: smokers, tongue rings) or I can go back and cross-reference them with another girl they have reviewed.. then I can ask the girl if he was a gentleman or not did he have bad breath? did he have bo? If I don't know the guy from Adam, I'm a lot more uneasy... he could be le, he could be a perv...

In more cases than not, I make sure I have a perb name, or at least a reference.
