@the Meat Market!!!lol
i know its alot to ask but maclean's are interested in doing a story on sex buyers and will be interviewing chris from john's voice. is there anyone who might be willing to be interviewed?

the reporter seems to be supportive and is not looking to write the usual hack job crap about pooners but rather is interested in being balanced.

this could be a chance to counter the buying sex documentary and your indentity would be protected....?

pm me if you are interested or feel free to ask any questions....

this would help to de villify pooners and could help in the fight against the nordic model....?

i am a fair reprasentation of poner
The most helpful people to interview .. would be some of our palotitions ... lawyers ... and judges that are main stream people ... that use our leage postiution servies.. That need to be hammered home to everyone..It is ok to see an escort...

johnsmit - I don't think that any of us are fair representation of pooners. We are about a diverse a group as one can get. Both in our backgrounds, our income levels, our education levels, and for the myriad of reasons why we prefer to pay.

susi, why not ask the reporter to post one or two questions here. We could all weigh in and if he wanted something more in depth he could pm a request. He or she may be surprised by the variety of responses.

I do not doubt the reporter is sincere in his efforts to provide a balanced report. Most reporters are, some are lazy and take the easy route, others go to great lengths to find an opposing view. Sometime to the extent that a minority opinion gets exposure all out of proportion to the numbers who may hold that position. But where the ink hits the paper here is with the editors. And the editorial slant is normally to vilify our community. For that reason I do not hold out a lot of hope for this story and will not talk to this guy.

ah, that was a tough interview to complete. All the shit I have seen over the years. :doh:

Admitting I didn't do shit to stop it was the toughest realization because I knew if I did open that can of worms it would be a biggie.

thank you all for your responses and concerns. i will ask if the reporter could post some questions here. that seems to be a good idea. i do understnad people's concerns especially about being villified. the buying sex documentry crew really undermined our trust in this kind of shit. i am sorry about that....

i will see what they say about posting here.

thanks everyone,
love susie

I filled out the survey and was surprised at the poor questions.

Seemed more concerned with pooner income, and answers to situations that have too many variables to answer, etc than the business of commercial sex and what we do, how we interact, what we think of the women, why we see SP's and how we select SP's, concerns over safety, locations of SP's, how we ensure SP's are independent, etc.

All in all I thought the emphasis was in the wrong place to give a good representation of who we are and what we do and why we do it. There was room for comments at the end, but after a long survey I wonder how many would bother writing much. I wonder how they will interpret the questionnaire.
