If others are doing it, I don't think this practice is widespread, and the better quality ladies wouldn't go for it anyway. Only a new girl might be naive enough to think a fake review could help her in the long run. Besides, Lori is obviously very unreliable, since most of the posts in this thread are pretty negative about her.
As for Slothy, I agree with you - he's no pimp. Let's not forget, he also "discovered" Sharla and willow, who have established themselves very well. That he appears to have missed the boat with Lori shouldn't be held against him. He's still batting way better than .500.
And, I'm glad I have never seen Lori, nor have I tried to, especially if she has a real pimp.
I'm certainly aware that at least one member was contacting ladies and offering them great reviews in return for freebies. However, he doesn't seem to have had any success, since he's never posted any reviews at all.Chronic said:

But I'm afraid if I got left at the door with no one home ... unless there was a good explanation, I wouldn't be calling again.

Absolutely! I have NEVER showed up at a lady's door, only to find out she's not there or not answering.
And, out-of-town, when I use outcalls, I've never been stood up either. I've sometimes had to call back because ladies were late, but they always showed up.
Are you saying that I'm very lucky? If so, I don't think I am. I do my homework, and let others test drive the new ladies. Obviously, Lori won't be on my dance card.

I am the Discovery Channel (lol) ... Sharla is loving every minute.

Based on what I have read in this thread, I will not be booking with Lori. It really helps when us guys are honest in our reviews of the sps, even if it may not be a positive review.
It saves us wasting time and money on a bad experience. Since she is new to the scene, maybe her service and reliability will improve and maybe it will not. But for now, no thanks.

I'm with you Avery, I have never stood up a SP when I have made an appointment.
If anything, I am guilty of staying and doing the mercy fuck when they were so fat and ugly. (sorry, no offense to anyone)

After I posted this I received a call from Lori, she left a message and said she was sorry, that she had something come up of a serious nature. She asked me to re-book and she would give me a discount because of the situation. Meet with her today, right on time and had a great time with her.
Do I think Slothy was shilling for her, of course he was. Do I care, not at all, as long as I get a honest review, I could careless what Slothy gets out of it

People on this board seem to be really quick with the shilling label whenever someone posts something positive about any SP. I have met a limited number of SPs and all of them had their merits that I would emphasize over any little things I thought could have been done better.
Having said that, I have met Lori - took about three different occasions to make the appointment because our schedules didn't fit and I didn't give that much notice. When I did get an appt., I showed up at the place and time and rang the buzzer. It took about 30 seconds to get a response - enough time to wonder if I had the right place. Lori explained that she noticed the paging system was flashing a light but the phone did not ring like it should have. If she had not noticed the light, I would have assumed I was stood up and left. That would then lead to her being stood up on the appointment too! This may explain one of the previous posts about no answer on the buzzer.
About SPs in general, every one I have met has a busy personal life that is a lot more chaotic than the average dude has, so it is to be expected that plans will change sometimes. If you did not leave a contact phone number you cannot fault an SP for failing to contact you to change the plans.
Re: the service Lori provided - I found her to be sweet, eager to please and very satisfying. I think she deserves a second chance if something didn't work out first time around.

ok, Ladylapper, just registerd Dec.16/04. I will take your word over the 5 or 6 bad reviews of this lady, lol. How many handles do you have by now?
I too have noticed that the "shill" label flies around here with reckless abandon. My own theory is that for most people, it's a totally new word in their vocabulary and they just can't resist the temptation to use it whenever possible. But I must point out that "schilling" (which I've seen used on more than one occasion) is actually a pitcher with the Boston Red Sox and therefore altogether different from shilling.
