I'm neither a woman nor a fashion-savvy metrosexual, but I think it looks terrific - way better than those ubiquitous generic, black ballistic nylon rolling computer cases (like the one I have). This one has character and sophistication.

If you lived in a more civilized, cosmopolitan city like Montreal instead of faux-macho Calgary, you wouldn't be asking the question. You'd just buy the damn case and get admiring comments from lots of people. Go ahead! Your balls won't atrophy! :D

REAL men lug their laptop bags with a strap over the shoulder.
Laptop bags that are wheeled around are for girls and girlie-men.

Case closed.

that bag looks great. besides, nobody knows what the hell is in it anyway. it's easy to cart around airports, and looks nondescript. that's everything you want in a bag. and, if you aren't going far, you can tuck that handle into the zipped compartment and just carry the thing like rambo would.

just don't go around wearing those gucci or louis vuitton boy bags over your chest. that's not fashionable; it's for boys who like boys.

FAG!!

Just kidding. I think that the bag looks fine, very professional IMO. But I always thought that you didn't give two shits about what other people think. If they think that your queer, who cares? Just start dressing like 50 mile and his friends:

With that bag, you would look like a total flamer ready for a heavy duty butt pounding from a hairy gay guy with a thick handle bar mustache and extra short denim shorts.

Real men don't use soft cases, especially ones with wheels. Real men carry their laptops in thin hardened metal briefcases with a handcuff attached to it and your wrist.

Is this a joke? If not, I got a good recommendation. I would go with the Vanguard Milano 95. It's the biggest one they make... all aluminum outer... $199 retail... about $100 from Amazon.com. I ended up getting this one for my 17" laptop after a lot of searching. It's frickin awesome.

If u want the leather look, sorry but I can't help.

Thank you.....a cogent and well thought out reply. As for the generic black ballistic nylon....that's what this is replacing. I have a great Victorinox but isn't quite large enough to cram in all the files and such.

I hear ya coach but I spend too much time in airports lugging my shit to hell and gone and I'm sick of looking like I'm 10 degrees off square because of the 40lbs hung off my shoulder. This case is just for traveling, while going to and from the office I have a North Face courier bag that kicks ass! Great design and ergonomics.

thanks....although I'm not sure I want to do anything that would make me look rambo like ;)

Thanks and I really don't care about what other's think but for the coin they're charging for this bag I want to make sure. Just a little vanity  Oh, that pic is going to give me nightmares.

hard to go wrong with brown leather. its got a good 70's retro look to it almost. with exception of the handle. i think its good though.
Thank you, thats sort of what I thought.

With that level of vivid detail it sounds like you've experienced it ;)

Airport security won't let handcuffs as part of your carry on......sort of found that out the hard way

Thanks but hard sided doesn't work for me. Soft is the way to go as you can cram more stuff in.

That's not a feminine bag at all, if that's what you're asking gravitas.
Thank you, that was what I was looking for.

well...after much contemplation I said fuck it and bought the case....felt a tad hedonistic but have rationalized it by using my Ralph bucks to fund part of the purchase

to those of you who thought it looked fagish all I have to say is piss off ;)

but can you still pack a six pack in the damed thing?
Dunno....looked for the actual interior specs and volume information but none would be found (if anyone feels so inclined to spend time googling its a "Schlesinger Adventure Overnighter Wheeled Computer Brief") but from the pics its quite large. I'll be sure to try and fit a six pack when it shows up.

This may be hard to believe, but for centuries the discussion of a non-feminim bag for men has been a hotly debated topic. Here are some philosophical questions to be asked:

1. Why are bags a sign of femininity?
2. When a man must go about his business by carrying something, why is he is seen as less manly than one who can live life without carrying?
3. Why has an acceptable Man-Bag been so elusive?
