Hey Lux,
I go through that same problem. I cant use lubes of any sort if there is glycerine in it because of yeast infections. Another really good lube besides Liquid Silk is ID Millenium.
This is one that I use all the time. I doesnt go tacky, has no taste and is great on toys. It works wonders. So this one and Liquid Silk is the only ones I ever use.
I think its great too cause i can use it for hj and not have to worry about breaking the condom (which happens when one uses oil).
This being said. I find I go through alot of lube. And I am not willing to pay $45 a bottle. So I found that ordering it online and buying 4 bottles at a time. Is a great deal for someone that uses a lot of lube.

How about olive oil. It was mention on another site and i thought that was a great lube.
If the couple uses condoms, maybe this isnt the right thing to use either. I was in the understanding that all oils cause condoms to break.
If this isnt the case, I heard grapseed oil is great but very expensive.

Get the little one use packs available at most sex shops. Save a bundle over the bottle and have fun trying them all out one night. Like a wine tasting for lube.

Use polyurethane condoms. They are not damaged by oil of any kind and the material used has a much higher heat coefficient. It does a much better job than latex of transferring the heat from one side of the condom to the other. It also is usually thinner. All in all, it just feels tons better for the guy. (and if what the ladies tell me is accurate, they enjoy the feel a lot better than latex too ... lol)

Oh, but wait, according to Stella, you ladies who are veterans at this already know everything so I shouldn't volunteer information.

I'm so confused ...

Well, it looks like latex condoms and olive oil don't mix that well. Although the damage isn't as great as with petroleum based oils, it's still bad enough to stay away from it.

P.S. Don't let Stella catch you reading this. She says that veteran SP's can never learn anything about their business from lowly Perberts.

LOL ...If you peruse the the thread you will notice that the olive oil and latex problem was already mentioned by a PAID ADVERTISER.

Try again jnewton ...

Try again Stella. Her post indicated she wasn't completely certain about this.

Stella, I am so sick of your hateful attitude I am putting you on ignore. I'm tired of dealing with your self-righteous arrogance and your pseudo superiority. Have fun arguing with yourself.

jnewton for a Perbert you have a thin skin.
Our exchange cost you nothing.

Try to image how an SP would feel if she got a "negative but respectful" review from you.
Image how she would feel. That exchange would have cost YOU nothing but very real costs to her

Anyways. Sorry for hijacking the thread folks. Here is the little nugget of infomation provided by jnewton.

Rapid condom damage by common sex lubricants.

Voeller B, Coulson AH, Bernstein GS, Nakamura RM; International Conference on AIDS.
Int Conf AIDS. 1989 Jun 4-9; 5: 805 (abstract no. D.685).

Mariposa Foundation, Topanga, CA, USA

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the degradation kinetics of sex lubricants upon the strength of latex condoms.

METHODS: Condoms were lubricated along the distal half and tested at intervals for change in their strength.

Standard US (ASTM) tensile strength and elongation tests (T&E) were conducted, as were standard international (ISO) air burst tests.

RESULTS: Sixty seconds' exposure to mineral oil (common to many widely used sex lubricants) caused approx. 90% lowering of tensile strength and elongation values (T&E) and air burst volume and pressure values of test condoms.

T&E and air burst values were also significantly affected by Vaseline Intensive Care, Johnson's Baby Oil, Crisco, Nivea Hand Lotion, Vaseline Petroleum Jelly, Mazola (corn oil), Wesson (soybean) Oil, and olive oil.

Some silicone oils significantly affected T&E and air burst values after 45 min. or longer exposure times.

Twenty-four hour exposure to 20% aqueous nonoxynol-9 spermicide did not affect either air burst or T&E values.

However, 15 min. exposure to some spermicidal preparations and to KY jelly caused significant reduction in T&E elongation values.

CONCLUSIONS: The rapidity of the effect of commonly used sex lubricants upon condoms is far greater than generally appreciated and may be the source of considerable breakage of condom during sexual intercourse.

ANYWAYS ...

I guess the lesson to be learned here is to use a silicon lubricant and don't "bonk" for more that 45 minutes on the same condom.

Alas the question about grapeseed oil is still unanswered

Emphasis mine. Don't try to be selective when trying to make a pointless point. It doesn't matter if it seems she isn't completely sure about this after the fact, she started with the idea that she was. And she was right. Don't mistake diplomacy with a need for guidance from anyone.

Really, jnewton, your immaturity here is really showing. Grow up.

Really Pillowtalk, are you the twin sister of Stella?

You are just as sanctimonious as she is and since discussion with either of you always results in your arrogance coming to the fore, I will ignore you as well. It simply isn't worth the effort to try to show you that learning from others is something we could all do, even if we think we are experts. Enjoy your misandry. I will not be paying attention any longer. It just isn't worth it.

The only lube that exists in my world is "Pink" and there is no way I will ever stray. I am loyal to my lube and you will be to. Once you go pink you never go back.

Thank you all for the informative and helpful feedback, it's appreciated... and here I was going to use Agip T4 20W 50 for sport driving.
Sorry, guy joke here.

As for the verbal attacks, let's all try to get along.

Peace.

I have tried so many different lubes it is CRAZY! Pink was pretty good,. and runs about 3rd on my list. It was a while ago, but I think it wore out and was on the watery side to my recollection. In any event, I knew it was not something I wanted to buy all the time......
I used something called "Gun Oil" (lol) and it is mainly an anal lube, as far as I recall, but I got a LOT of bang for the buck out of this stuff, so to speak.

The lube I find to be the ULTIMATE for my day to day use, as it lasts well, and NEVER EVER EVER GOES STICKY, is "WET PLATINUM" in a black bottle, readily available at Shoppers (12.00) London Drugs (12.00), and Wal Mart (cheapest there, 10.00) But, if you are looking for a larger bottle, look at the sex shops on Davie. (I DO NOT like ANY of the other WET lubes, as I find they all go sticky)
First place I have ever seen a bottle larger than standard. ($60.00 for about a half liter)

I use this not only for lube, but it doubles as an EXCELLENT massage oil.

I might add, that since I have used this lube, I have not had a single "womans issue" and I have been healthier than ever in that respect.....YAY!

thanks for all the advice Miss Luxx. I hate "sticky" lubes, it feels weird. I used to be a big fan of Astroglide until now.

Liquid silk is one of the better ones... looks like spunk :) So hopefully that doesn't bug you. It's less 'goopy' then the clear gel type stuff I find...
