Lower prices at supreme

I heard that supreme is lowering their prices with 160-180 for FS 30 mins, 200-220 for the hour, and 260-280 for sGFE, though I guess it all depends on the girl and what she will charge exactly.
Though 200-220 for a hour of FS is something that we have not really seen in the better studios in what has to be over 6 years. Hopefully other studios will follow.

I'm not sure if its because the Oil-Hawks game was on that night, or if its still the post-Christmas pooner lull, or if the competition has gotten steeper from newer MPs, indie SPs and visiting SPs, or if they're the one MP that has finally realized that the Alberta boom ended over 2 years ago. At least I wasn't rushed out the door, and I even had a chance to catch up with Alexandria.

What I do is ask what the rate is then pay it. If a girl is professional she won't overcharge a regular or potential new regular. If I feel like the price was too much then I don't repeat and in the long run it's her loss. But I figure this way I am respecting her right to charge what she wants.

Yeah, I've also seen some SPs who advertise that repeat customers get a reduced rate...at what point are you considered a repeat customer? I've seen an SP 3 times, still same rate. Can I ask "So, do I qualify get a reduced rate?" without sounding cheap? Nope, I just stopped seeing her and moved on.

Sometimes, I think I get overcharged cause they think I'm just some mark off the street...like they'll charge me MORE than their advertised online rate. I pay and don't go back, maybe if I mentioned I saw the ad on a site, but a lot of times, I don't like mentioning I'm on forums cause then I'm worried they'll put pressure on themselves for a review.

Quite a few studios have five girls a shift now, which was unheard of back then. They can't all be doing four clients a shift...

Using 50th Street as a benchmark, I can usually get the time and girl I want if I call about two hours ahead. That never used to be the case -- I'd usually have to call right at the start of a girl's shift.

The thing that makes girls like Kendra, Shawna, and Lilith among others so successful is that they recognize the value of repeat customers. Many girls don't have even basic business sense and will try to get the most $$$ possible from one session and then later wonder where all their customers are.

What's that old rule about repeat customers? For every one that actually bothered to complain ten more just quietly stop coming, and it costs five to six times as much money to attract a new customer than keep an existing one.

That's just the local MPs. There are more indie SPs than back then, and quite a few visiting SPs, many of whom are working here via agencies like EdmontonGFE.

Anyway, kudos to Sandy and co for lowering rates. I wonder if the other MPs and SPs will follow suit.

I think kudos go to the girls, and not I, who took it upon themselves to be proactive regarding their prices. They have realized that the industry has been saturated and in order to be competative, something has to give. It is just inevitable that we are eventually going to see a lowering of prices throughout the industry so why not be the initiators! It is always better to lead than follow they say. Kind of like trying to catch a falling knife..........................

I commend the studios which have reduced their prices. They now face a lot of competition from indies and visiting agency girls.

some indies are charging 220 for safe/full gfe for one hour, some visiting agency girls are 200 for full gfe one hour (sensual Melly and Shannon for example). Edmontongfe girls charge 200 (sgfe) for 45 minutes and 240 (sgfe) for one hour. Other MP girls are now working part time as indies, and charging as low as 200/220 for Full GFE, one hour, MSOG.

The biggest drawback to seeing an MP attendant is that the MP policy is only One SOG. If you come in the first 10 minutes or so, your session is over!!, With the indies, and visiting gals, you generally get a full 60 minutes of her time.

The MPAs will tell you that your allotted time is UP to One hour, but 10 to 15 minutes are wasted/eaten up by your pre-session shower and waiting for the SP to return to the room, and then you're rushed out of the room with the knock on the door letting you know it's time to pack it in. Also, there's a bit of false advertising with some MPAs saying they're GFE, and not allowing any kissing or digits, but they still want the full GFE fee.

It looks like some Edmonton MPs are beginning to adjust to the reality that the MPs are losing Major ground to competitive forces in Edmonton.

I don't think that there is such a thing as a "Standard" rate any more for services in the MP studios here.

i think a repeat customer is one who has seen an SP at least 10 times, but even after that, don't expect her to volunteer a lower rate to you. If you ask her for a lower or reduced rate even then, she may give it to you, but reduce her services (and her attitude) to match the reduced rate accordingly. The reduced rate for a repeat customer is an urban myth, generally a lie in the industry, and used by the girls to milk you for all they can, while they can, cuz they know that you will eventually stop visiting them.

Fresher goods are always arriving on the scene.

yup. Better getting some business than being blanked shift after shift, and the poor SPs having to pay a shift fee after having no customers during that shift.

Does that happen very often that they get nothing all day? I'm leaning more towards most SPs see at least 1 or 2 a day. At a conservative $200 an hour, that's still $400, way more than most make in a day. Say they only keep $300 after room fees, that's still pretty good.

Many work 4 days a week, get blanked for 2 of those 4 days, end up making $600 a week or $2400 a month, near the poverty line. Lots of infighting trying to steal customers. Some have SOs who live off of them, and use the girls' money to party and get high. Some get ripped off/short changed by clients, but still have to pay the room fees from their own pockets. They don't have any benefit packages, or coverage of any kind. If a customer roughs 'em up so that they can't work, they lose their livelihood. Their room fees keep increasing, was $25, then $40, then $50 and up. Then the owners fine them for almost everything they can..late fees, being absent without arranging a replacement, and on and on. Most of these girls are living hand to mouth, from one shift paycheck to the next shift.

I wouldn't call that "pretty good".

Yes there was competitive pricing and services offered. And they claimed the increase in competition was causing it. Good, that is what business is all about, a competitive car or product comes along and causes price reductions in the industry. Bring on free enterprise. Now, the only issue I see is that the gals in these places are so old. What happened to the 21 year olds we used to have?

Depends alot on which MP you go to. Quite a few of the MPs have a fairly good mix of ages, etc for thier ladies. EBC, Revive, Legends, 50th Street would be good ones to look at, but may depend on the schedules for the ladies working, time of day, etc.
