best of friends

I'm just a big sap for love. I cried so much about my last love relationship ending. Now years later when I look back on it it kind of makes me giggle. He still calls me once in a while and I can honestly say I'm over him or 'it'. The passage of time is such a glorious thing.

It's been said that the best cure for a love affair gone wrong is a new love affair but I think there should be a mandatory period for reflection and introspection before we rush off to do the same stupid thing again LOL
