And now, some science. Some male pattern baldness is related to excessives of certain androgenic hormones (there are others besides testosterone: rather, there are different ESTERS of testosterone) relating to male sex drive. Particularly if it is balding front to back (if you know what I mean) This is why bodybuilders start losing hair on their heads and growing hair in other places; the so called "ape drape". In men with naturally occurring higher than average testosterone, they tend to also be unusually thick through the thighs, and have larger than average rather splayed feet, I have noticed.
Balding or shaved, it doesn't matter to me, but I have never seen a hairpiece that looked as good as a well maintained (partial) head of hair!
