San Jose Del Cabo is a nice little town to visit while you are there. Go on a quad tour while you're there if it's still available. Was owned by a gentleman from Vancouver when I was there, and it was a great way to get off the beaten path. El Squid Row in Cabo is a fun little bar, and Sammy's club Cabo Wabo had an awesome house band when we were there, just stay out of the dark alleys at night...

I'm curious if 'El Toro' is still operating...I recall a scrumptious Latina (duh) that was a bunch 'o' fun for $500p (roughly $50/US or $63ish/CAD)

oh, and both The Nicklaus and Weiskopf courses were over-priced

IIRC the Nicklaus course was only $800usd or so when I was there:faint: We played daily at the Public course in San Jose as we were in the Howard Johnson across the road, and it was only $25usd per round!

the HoJo has been derelict and abandon some 10 years now. banks seized. the little public course has been run by the Mayan and last round was almost $55USD for nine. surfing or swimming right now is a bit risky as full on hurricane swell and surge season creates dangerous rips and severe beach undertow. play it very safe at night as the Federali’s and Marino’s (yes marines) are everywhere with such a spike in territorial interwar fighting amongst cartels. obviously they overlap into all profitable areas. that said enjoy the food and nightlife, but drugs and poonjng are very much still illegal in Mx. it’s not TJ. right Honda

The HoJo had just gone into receivership when I was there...they had no towels or cutlery the night we arrived, but within a day or two things were good. Too bad, it was a nice little place for a 3 star hotel.

Fishing!
Bob Hope was the first film star discovered this wonderful place for fishing. I was there 2 times. During my only fishing trip, I caught 4 tunas, 5 mackerels and 5 mahi-mahis. It was a fishing trip of my life time! However you will have to get up early as the trip starts at 7am. 6 hours on a 12 feet dingy without a toilet! Have fun!

Riza has a nice idea, but in reality the services in Mexico are so inexpensive that Riza’s taxi ride to the airport here would pay for a great time there for a couple of sessions. Like I found massages advertised for $200 pesos, divided by 14 for the current exchange rate. A full service session with room was 800 pesos, or less than $60 Canadian. A two gal “massage” was 1800 pesos, because one was about 25 and the other 45, but both wonderful people, fun, laughing, joking, and great atmosphere. That translate to about $140 for an hour ménage a trios. The gals were absolutely nubile and beautiful. I could have had a massage from every one that day.

I should meet Riza though. I do live here.
