Is it an ego thing that reviewers describe them in a way that widely imply model looks? It's simply not true. Maybe to win favour with the SP.

I have to agree with your observation about the looks of most SP.
I think most reviewers are blinded the light after they have seen some of those SP ound:

I'm assuming that you are talking about the under $300 per hour market. At $300 and above in Vancouver, there are a number of SPs that are well above average in appearance. At $500 and above there are a number of SPs that are well above average in both appearance and deportment.

Looks are of course in the eyes of the beholder. I don't know if reviewers always imply "model looks" when they are reviewing SPs and compliment them - I think that is more of a statement that the personal reviewer finds them attractive.

In my experience, the higher priced SPs tend to have more of the "model looks". However, not everyone finds the "model looks" the most attractive. Some like cute, some like small, some are attracted to asians, some like small bodies, some like curvier bodies and some are into specific body parts like big boobs or a great ass. Most people on this board research their intended SPs so it is not unusual that, if they have researched carefully, they would find their intended SP to be attractive, as presumably they have gone to see someone who fits their general parameters of "attractiveness", and has that "thing" that they like, whatever that may be. It is in fact those that do this careful research and visit those who fall within their search parameters that seem to enjoy this hobby the most and have the best rapport with SPs.

This is one of the reasons I never attach a numerical number to my assessment of looks, attitude or service in a review. My six my be another man's nine and vice verse. I have seen what I consider to be some very attractive women IMHO.

I never checked your profile yet. Have you posted any reviews? I'd like to see your ideas on whom you consider to be 'exceptionally good looking'.

And yes, Sasha has got to be one of the prettiest SP's I have seen. Thing is with external beauty comes an important factor being inner beauty. Sasha also has an inner beauty as many other ladies I have seen. That is really what makes her stand out in my mind because it makes you feel comfortable being with her.

There is a review of another SP reputed to be "9" in looks but is very aloof and distant. I have not seen her but would be willing to bet she lacks an inner beauty that allows regular looking guys a comfort level when you are with her.

Most SPs are but they have a unique quality they enjoy their work they are real and genuine and care. They are beautiful inside.
how ever IMHO Serina is a beautiful naturally beautiful, SP, as is Holly Taylor.

The OP saw Serina and posted a review. I agree Serina is very attractive + is a very nice person too.

What do you mean by that, I will not include myself in this as I am much older than most SPs. I am just a plain jane so to speak, I hardly wear make up even or clients, as I am real and what you see and who you meet is who you get, I have no complaints I am happy with my looks and who I am. I am "normal" looking SP, but IMHO I do look good for my age, 49 is just around the corner.

Nothing wrong with that. The SP's I repeat with are mostly 'plain looking' and often 'mature'. I like them just fine and that's why I see them. Just throwing it out for discussion.

Seriously though, everyone's opinion of beauty is different and other people value different qualities. I'm kind of like Paula Abdul I guess, I think every SP that I've met is beautiful and personable, and its awesome (and they're awesome). Some people prefer facial beauty, others prefer smokin' bodies, and there's still others who rank personality above everything else. Who knows.

Though one would figure that most SPs would be knockouts, you'll find that the escorting world is more like the 'real world'. There will be some super stunning women who could but Cindy Crawford's looks to shame. There will also be a much larger number of SPs who are 'average' (in quotes because I'm not sure exactly what it means) in the looks department because hey, average is average for a reason: there's a greater number of the population in that range.

Always remember though, your 9 could be somone's 6 and vice versa.

Although I am the first one to admit being attracted to facially pretty women, I think when it comes to this hobby I like to have a solid 6 or 7 but with an amazing attitude. The ones who will do all those things that a GF or a SO won't do

I don't think I'd say Vancouver SPs are just average looking. I think recently we have had SPs that were in Playboy, FHM and Maxim, Claire Frost and Bella Ferrari were two SPs that come to mind that advertised this and that should qualify them as being well well above average looking. There have been other recent SPs that were former strippers at Brandi's, cheerleaders and Cactus Club waitresses, and those jobs pretty much required them to be above average looking as a qualification, so I'd say there are lots of pretty SPs here locally.

I'm not sure about people exaggerating SP's looks to win favour, it could just as easily be said that the people that call SPs 6 or 7s instead of 8s or 9s are trying to be elitist. I don't know how you can call someone a 6 if you've never met a 10. But then again everyone has a different curve and different tastes. For example, I think Jennifer Lawrence is pretty and I'd definitely have sex with her, especially if she was wearing her Mystique outfit, but I wouldn't call her gorgeous or stunning like the media refers to her as, but that's my taste. She seems like she'd be pretty fun to hang out with though, would be a fun evening to trip over red carpet and watch Homeland DVDs with her...

But I wonder what the thoughts are the other way around? Do SP's mentally "rate" their clients as average, above average, and stunning? And does a higher donation the SP request produce better looking clients? For the record, I think I am in the "average" in the looks department and I am usually spending $250 to $300 per hour.
