Might be due to contributors constantly disobeying the "do not post links" and "only last 4 digits" rules. You're right, the thread is locked and was unpinned in January(?). Also noticed it's major contributor hasn't been seen for a month.
Could a new thread be started? New iterations of previously locked threads is not allowed. Maybe mods can chime in.
