Mason Raymond get's touched and falls again....what else is new?

Maybe Gillis should sweet talk Lou's wife Gina. Make a deal with Gina and I am sure she'll be able to persuade Lou to do anything. How about playing in Europe? Isn't that what Chicago did with Christobal Huet?

Florida has 23 million, tampa 16 million.
Looks like Schneids will be in for the duration.

Maybe Dale Tallon (Florida) would take Luongo and a 1st round pick in exchange for Theodore (1 year remaining at 1.5 million).

Not sure Yzerman would mortgage Tampa for Luongo. They already have Vinny at 8 plus million a year.

Luongo-Canucks marriage on the rocks?

Schneider looks like Vancouver’s new No. 1

Vancouver Canucks’ call means Cory Schneider No. 1 goalie, Roberto Luongo tradable

Not trying to be a troll as some may suggest here but it looks like Canucks Luongo's days are numbered........

By the way, I am a Canucks fan.
Roberto Luongo is a (very) good goalie. But he has to play somewhere where hockey isn't a big deal like back in Florida or Tampa Bay. I doubt he'd last in Toronto either.

Totally disagree. His contract will not be an issue in toronto. Low cap hit for a top goalie.
He had too much baggage here:
The captaincy which was a huge mistake.
Expectations were far too high. He is expected to be the top goalie in the league every game.
His odd, aloof interview manner has changed. He's much more relaxed and even likeable now.
He won't have the most articulate, likeable, and best backups in the league.

I hope you're right. If the Leafs had a half decent goalie this year they would have made the playoffs.

Biggest question is what does Toronto have that we could possibly want... I pissed off one of the Marlies (employees) at the Heat Marlies game in abby last night.

Marlies won and we were walking together.. He made a comment that it was nice to see their team do so well. I looked at him and said, " it was hardly a fair game." He says, "what are you talking about?" I said, "it's a shame the AHL playoffs and the Marlies are running their full NHL Maple Leafs roster." then I smiled... (they had a lot of kids who played up with the buds on their roster)...he looked at me and told me to FUCK OFF! then walked away from me. Fuck some people can't take a joke.Seriously.. I'm Driving back from Portland right now.. typing in the passenger seat..Driving up I-5 lol

Winterhawks take a 2-1 best-of-seven series lead with a 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oil kings tonight exciting game!
Sat nite in Abby, sun nite in Portland, Badger, you are a FAN!

The Marlies guy should have thicker skin if he is an employee of the team

I dunno if ppl are coming out in #'s to Ricco Arena in Tor. to watch them or not.
